This review is for the incomparable, Elizabeth "Liz" Loftis, Producing Sales Manager at Truist who…read moreis arguably the best mortgage specialist this side of the Mississippi. I came to Liz after another bank and loan officer dropped the ball...big time. My realtor talked to her colleagues and asked who the best person in the business was for the type of mortgage I was looking for and they all said Liz so she connected us. Initially, Liz was helping us do research so that we didn't run into the same problem on another property while I decided what to do about the other bank and loan officer. She never pressured me to switch. Instead she understood my hesitation, informed me of what value she could add to the deal and was sure to let me know that she was here for me regardless of my decision. She was so helpful, knowledgeable, prompt and thorough that it became painstakingly clear who deserved my business and who did not. I made the switch to Liz. She and her assistant Laura were on it every step of the way. When I found my home, Liz worked tirelessly to make the deal come to fruition even when a colleague of hers took over as he was the preferred lending agent for the builder. She collaborated with him and remained a contact person for me to ensure the deal went smoothly. Every time I called or texted, she would call back or return my text, no matter what. Each communication was detailed and she was always solutions oriented despite any challenges we faced. I would recommend, Elizabeth "Liz" Loftis to absolutely anyone looking to buy a home. Her knowledge, professionalism, ability to empathize and provide solutions are just some of the things that make her the best in business.

Always helpful and always customer service driven - this big bank has had lots of bad press !!!…read moreAnd from what I read in the news and learned from television reports it is rightfully deserved- apparently they've got lots of scandals in their organization. But on a branch level - this reviewer will be handing out 5 big red stars for the customer service and personal attention you'll find at this location. If you follow my reviews you know I'm picky with bank customer service and support. The team at this branch has it down . You will always find plenty of associates available to help and all of them are eager and efficient. Several tellers (usually 3 or 4 ) are always working and move at a deliberate pace to handle the customers needs. The drive thru is also very quick and efficient and most days a minimum of two tellers are there to serve you. Carolina Place Wells Fargo gets two thumbs way up !

Been banking with them since before they ever dreamed of being a Wells Fargo. This is my closest…read morebranch location to work nowadays and I've been using them frequently in my "extreme adulting". AKA: investing and nerding out about IRAs and all that. Anyways, I'm gonna spare the internet bots my personal info. Staff here has been incredibly observant, reliable and helpful. However, it seems like many of them talk really fast and have accents to boot. Makes things a little hard to understand. Best advice I can give: slow it down a little! When you inevitably do end up asking many questions though, they will answer them and explain them fully. You always have to make sure to read the fine print and ask every question. They've never once made me feel stupid for asking a question. Seems lots of people are lighting up Wells Fargo, Bank of America and basically all of the banks these days. I'm not picky about banks and I'm not threatening to run off with another bank and move my money. I don't think Wells Fargo or Bank of America are any better than the other. They're just huge financial institutions where we all keep our money so we can use it on the daily. Nothing more, nothing less in my opinion.

A small credit union based out of North Carolina that anyone in the nation can join if they join…read morethe North Carolina Consumers Council. At the time of this review, they have some of the lowest APR for vehicle loans for the general public - 2.49% for up to 84 months. Yet, there is some issues that they need to address especially since they service the entire nation - even if they are small. To join the credit union - they are still doing paper applications, which has to be mailed if you are out of state - no reason to do this anymore in 2020. Also no reason to send e-mails regarding your account instead of through a secure, internal messaging system. After one's credit is pulled for a loan is when you learn, that they have a monetary limit how much they will loan for a private sale. So this excludes high-end vehicles. This should be notated somewhere on their website or even before you apply for a loan. Speaking of the website, after you login, it could definitely benefit from upgrades at least in terms of navigation and options to the user - very basic. While the staff were friendly and quick to respond to my e-mails - they should probably have more staff on hand and adjust a few shortcomings - especially since anyone can join this credit union.

A truely kind professional in a business that everyone hates and looks down upon, she changed the way I look at bankers. Her smile made a dying elderly women who hates everyone and everything smile today. Whoever put that ring on her finger is a lucky man and chase is an even luckier bank. I remember last summer they had a rash of robberies of people at the ATM's there, but I don't remember if those happened after hours or not. Not to mention, the Wells Fargo next door was just robbed yesterday. My main issue with this location is that there can be very long waits inside with the teller, because it seems that 80% of the time, there is only one clerk working. Heck, maybe it's just my bad luck, but I've been in at various times and days. Other than that, it's a bank and they want our money, LOL
