I have called many times with what I thought was a problem only to be told that I can take care of the issue myself with the advice they are willing to give me without charging me for an in person repair appointment.

I used…read moreto only go here for a car inspection and have been going for years but last year (2022) was the absolute last time cause he's always trying to find something wrong with my car and tries not to pass it in inspection. The owner is just an absolute jackass. And not only that, his gas prices are a rip off. I dont know if he ever changed his prices but last time I was there for an inspection, this scumbag was charging $6.50 PER GALLON for diesel when every single other gas station on 22 are about $4.00 per gallon and over $5.00 for the lowest priced gas (these are cash prices) when all the other stations are about $4.50 (for credit card prices). So you could save $2.50 per gallon for diesel if you go to a different station that sells diesel. This dirtbag should be fined for ripping people off for not only having those prices but for being an absolute asshole to everybody that goes to this place.

I guess if I could, my car would say, excellent gas, very tasty, very filling, a little on the pricier side but hey, the gas that gives gas. No, not that kind. Anyway, I'm here because yes this gas station has saved my life at random times over the years. One time, just for existing and needing to pull over with an oil leak. It's so convenient in a corner and yea, grab yourself a donut at DD if ya want. BUT, when all gas stations are closed or sketchy on 22 in the late hours of the night, this place is open! I'm not really sure til when but there was even a nice employee just sweeping around the parking lot at like 2am once. Also, again, when all gas station stores are closed that you need more than gas. By more than gas I mean an excessive and desperate need for sparkling water. It's now or never otherwise I will thirst to death with regular flat water when I finally get home. So yea, this place pretty impressively has been there for me a time or two and they deserve a nice shout out. Also, they sell gas, for grilling peaches during the summer. AND they have a whole ice cream freezer inside for that late night ice cream attack.

I drive past 2 other gas stations to shop here because the staff are friendly and customer orientated. A little service goes a long way with me. They've always got some classic soft rock playing, it's fun to hear an obscure song I've not heard in decades. Aside from the standard gas station features, this location has: - One diesel pump - 7 regular gas pumps - Very large candy & sweets selection - Tums is thoughtfully placed next to the 'Super King Size Reeses Cups' - Decent drinks & beer selection - Decent dry goods in a pinch (dog food, canned soup, shampoo etc) - A few pre-made sandwiches - Bagged ice - Scratch off vending machine - Clean bathroom

This is the Hess Station on RT 22…read more While I almost always buy gas based on price, sometimes they do something to set themselves apart to make me add them to a list of "places to avoid" This Hess station has done it twice, Once by not allowing a credit card purchase of the Hess Holiday truck last year "Cash Only" and the final straw was this month where we were informed that the "boss does not let customer use the bathroom" That's all good bye, I will pay more or go to the BP just down the street.

Not only that, the pumps always work, the screens are awesome, the paying process is so easy (you never get stuck with the: see the clerk inside message). Love the screens that play whatever it is as you're pumping. Also if you're already here, might as well go next door for that awesome car wash. A quick and easy two in one!
