Cancellation fee $150 if you're not inform them 5 days before the reservation day which is understandable until you there is a PROBLEM. They scheduled a 3days window for pick up from Fri - Sun. Then 1 day before the pick up the gave me a 6HOURS window from 1PM - 6PM on Friday. The driver that texted me name Andy (this gentleman has ZERO idea whats called customer service) he's from the 3rd party company name ELITE SERVICE. He didnt let me change the it from Fri to Sat by texting "No, tomorrow only". Because of the company's policies so I'm okay with that but had to change the pick up destination to my wife's work place. On Friday I heard nothing back from the company eventhough it's 5h30pm. Texted Andy the driver, called him multiple times but there's no answers, not even a message. I had to messaged Reece the receptionist, tried to reach Rebecca the accoutant, John from DispacthTeam still no replies. 6h30pm none of the staffs answer my calls, texts or emails. At this point I just want to cancel my reservation but they took the whole payment already and not sure if there's gonna be a conpensation as the company didnt keep their reputation. My wife finished work at 7pm I told her to stay until 7h15 if the driver arrive. 7h30 when my wife on her way home, the driver called her said he 12mins away so she had to come back. The driver picked up our car is Michael not Andy who texted me in the first place. At 8pm Reece the receptionist emailed me said he couldnt get ahold from Andy and will keep me update ASAP. This showed how unprofessional the company is as I got my car delivered at 7h45 already but still they didnt know what's going on. Till the day my car is shipped to San Jose they still not send any updated email only if you email them first. I believe that as long as they got the money they're done with their part, everything else is the 3rd party fault. Big thanks to REECE as he's the only who took care of us eventhough it's 8pm I know he's not supposed to be working at that time. About USA AUTO TRANSPORT I would not recommend this company to anyone that need a transport service in the future, I hope anyone who's about to choose the company look at this review and have an idea about what might happen to you and how irresponsible the company is.

Obstacles were nothing but a little wall for them and they managed to overcome each one, very skilled professionals that knew exactly what they were getting into. We had a local move but the house was fairly large and they had a lot of ground to cover, fortunately we called them during a perfect time and they got the move done for us immediately.

He was extremely patient with me calling him many times about the logistics, deposit and payment, etc. because I'd not shipped a car before. Pickup of my car happened within the 72 hour time window I was given, and delivery actually happened on the shorter end of the estimated time. I had packed a number of boxes into the car very neatly (sight lines were clear for the driver) and GAT didn't give me any hassle about extra weight in the car (although I was afraid I had gone beyond the 100lb. allowance). Car arrived in good shape, although I wish they had put down a paper protector on the driver's side floor mat - it was very muddy. D.C. has rules about big truck haulers on city streets so my car was transferred to a single-car flatbed for delivery at no extra charge. I was able to pay the driver the C.O.D. charge electronically, which was great. Working with GAT was a good experience.

I was very pleased with his communication, and he didn't seem to be annoyed by the endless amount of questions that I had for him. I had never had my car shipped, so I was nervous and I was told so many different things by many places, but something about Anthony kept me calm, and I trusted the reviews on Yelp for SCS. I liked the quote Anthony gave me, and how calm and sure he was of their business. He also replied through email very quickly. There is a direct deposit, and it was reasonable and taken out immediately. I also kept in touch with a very nice lady named Elina C. She was a logistics coordinator and clarified that I'd need to stay in contact with a driver named Igor of Vyrado Logistics in Puyallup. Again, I was a little confused in this whole process being new to this business, but Elina reassured me that nerves are normal and that they'd ship my car in about five days. I was shocked because every other place said that it'd take about 7-10 days, and one place even said two to six weeks, which is odd if they can drive hundreds of miles a day, and Detroit is about 2300 miles. The funny thing is that the ones who said it'd take longer said it'd be safer, but it was more expensive and it'd take longer than what GAT said. I kept in touch with Igor, he was nice to allow me to put a lot in my 2010 Civic (more than the usual amount with no extra fee), took pictures, gave me electronic forms to keep, and then he was off with my car on the carrier. It's nice that they do business door to door. He was also accurate with the times he gave me on pickup, and kept in touch well through phone. He let me know I could pay after he dropped off the car, and that cash was preferable. I forgot that GAT said that the carrier who comes decides what amount I need to pay in, so I called GAT right away and told them I was confused why I needed to pay in cash? They reminded me that again, it's up to carrier, and Igor was flexible also mentioning I could pay cashier's check, money order, or credit card but it'd be an extra 5% by card. I told him I'd have the cash ready. I just received my car about an hour ago, and we are all surprised at how it got here in a timely manner, just five days! It took a little bit just because he had to take the cars off to get my car down safely, but I'd rather have him do it in his own time and well, instead of rush and risk damage. He was very careful with the other cars too, and told me I could wait inside because it was chilly out here. After he was done putting the other cars back, I thanked Igor, and I am overall very pleased with GAT. Car was dusty from going across the country from Tacoma to Detroit, but this was well worth it for such a great price. Thanks guys! Y'all made my day. :)

I like that he ensures a smooth experience and has great communication, he responded to my texts or calls so quickly and answered any questions I had throughout the process. When I was doing my research about which car transporter to go with I noticed a lot of these other companies tend to bait and switch and make false promises, so it's completely worth going with someone who is trustworthy and actually cares about their customers and that is why I went with Patrick. However, the problem arose with the shipper he subcontracted with to deliver the car. They were terrible, and caused us great stress, and eventually, he had to get involved. He admitted that the shipper was very bad at communication, but at a certain point, he himself became difficult to tolerate, cuz once he was set off, he would make it all about himself--making sure you knew what all he did in the service and how he knows what he's doing, etc etc.. So, eventually, we became skeptical that we'd ever see our car again, but finally, they came up with a plan that should not have been hard for them, but it was, and after much cost on our part, we finally got our car--in a city 4 hours away, so we had to then drive it home. sheesh!

My aunt and uncle moved back to Korea and were looking into a moving company that can help them out. They're 1st generation Korean, so their first instinct was to reach out to Korean moving companies ... I had a horrible experience with one--I will not name... and told my aunt and uncle to let me research some more. I found this place through a friend and wow! They can back to you so quickly with a quote and go through everything with you step by step. My aunt and uncle don't speak English very well, but this company went above and beyond to explain everything thoroughly. It's nerve wrecking to trust people with your stuff... especially when it's shipping to another country!!! But everything went so smoothly! :) everything was packed nicely, and unpacked without any damages! And y'all my aunt and uncle are not to be messed with... they are soooo uptight about everything ... (they're 1st gen koreans) and they were really happy with the whole process! She asked if I knew any moving companies that would make this process easy for her and her parents, since she doesn't have much time to sit and pack up all of her belongings. I remembered Schmidt International Shipping because a friend of mine recently used them to move down from Seattle to LA and he raved about how amazing they were... and he wasn't wrong. After my friend set her moving date with Schmidt, they came to her house (on time) and literally packed all of her stuff for her and her parents, organized which boxes were going to LA and which were going to London, and then packed everything into the truck. This saved her so much time and energy since she hates moving and packing, lol. Upon arrival, all of her belongings were exactly how they were before she moved and nothing was damaged or stolen for both her and her parents. My biggest fear is recommending a company to a friend and something unfortunate happening because of my recommendation, but thanks to Schmidt, I got a free dinner for myself and my fiancé, haha!
