i love my local stater bros come here all the time but today the cashier checking me out today ( Jessica ) didnt not say a single word to me or the guest in front of me ,didn't welcome us, didn't ask if we needed bags , i said thank you for the bags and receipt and no response as I was leaving I could tell she did the same with the next guest. Like????? I get a have bad days and don't want to talk to anyone but how does that help anyone?? at this point just put a self check section. Out of the two stores in my neighborhood this one has got to be the worst , produce is so inconsistent with having good fruit and vegetables do they not have a person that will say if the produce is good enough for the customer. Consider the paying customers before putting out subpar items on the floor. read more

The local sb supermarket is generally decent inside, though the parking lot cart situation remains a mess. Have to admit concerns with the security staff, as some make it a bit too obvious giving uncomfortable attention and looks to certain minorities. Yet when if I ever have to go in the store and see some person steal, they won't even flinch so what's the point, either commit or quit pretending being security guards. A major issue is with the card readers, which display the 4-digit card PIN during payment. This presents a serious security risk, as it could lead to theft of sensitive information. It's concerning that management has not addressed this problem this has been happening for quite awhile people can only hope maybe they change their ways 2025. read more

Adelanto 395 Manager Jeremy This is literally the best Stater Bros in the high desert . I'm in this location 5 to 7 days a week and I can say this store is always very clean and organized . If there is something you don't see and you ask a worker they assist you with a smile and go to the back to check for you with no attitude . They are very approachable. Let's talk about some of the stand out and amazing cashiers .. Annaleza , Joy , Donna , Mack , and Sandra and Kyle is service at its best . It's a lot of nice Courtesy Clerks as well .. however Randy P stands out . I have seen many of them go and come and I really hope this young man stays around . He greets you with a smile every single time .. i been in all the markets up in the high desert and I totally feel out of place when I'm not shopping at the stater bros in Adelanto off the 395 . Jeremy (Manager) is a very down to earth guy .. he's a hands on manager . He walks through the store facing off the shelf's and all . If you stop and ask him to assist you with something he stops what he is doing to help you . Very friendly store manager . Some managers in other stores don't speak to you unless cooperate is walking around checking the locations out . As well as the workers . Adelanto hands down is the best market up here . I contemplated walking out of the store with my cart full of groceries without paying just to see if I could get the attention of ANY EMPLOYEE. Maybe security could have opened up a line to ring me up! The lines were CRAZY and they had 2 express lines open and one regular line open. This means the people who are spending the LEAST get out faster than the people who are spending the most. If this store is short on $$ and can't have enough employees at the registers, maybe consider putting more emphasis on people who are spending the MOST. Get them in and out quickly. I could see a bunch of people up in the area where management sits. Weird that they didn't bother to come down and address the lines. read more

I shop here all the time. Lately I don't know what's going on there but I feel like I get ripped off every time I'm there in addition to bagging my own groceries. They won't fill the bags up unless you request that they do, and then continue to fill them up yourself when they don't. I don't like to do that, I find it rude, but it's just as rude if you're ignoring a request I've made to fit my groceries in my bags (reusable btw) I went in yesterday and bought a prepackaged tri tip that had no price listed on the shelf. I should've known. Looked at my receipt after purchase, $22. For tri tip. The uptick in price should've been listed, but that's how they get it. I also bought cheese itz and after eating some I had the worst stomach ache. Something told me to check the box. Expired in February of this year. this is what I'm talking about. Employees don't check for expired products anymore esp at stater bros and Walmart. It's ridiculous but now I have to be extra careful and in addition to remembering all the things I need to buy, I also need to check all of their expiration dates to make sure I don't get poisoned. Second time buying the ranchera meat for bbq and it sucked. I asked the butcher if it was fresh and he said it was. We bought a few pounds for Super Bowl party and everyone that had it got sick. Didn't get a chance to focus on the Super Bowl cause everyone got sick and in the bathroom for most of the game. Something needs to be done. I will no longer shop there. Terrible!!!! read more

New to the area and this is the closest neighborhood grocery store. It is always busy, so could do better by staffing more checkers. You will not get in and out quickly. Stater Bros is not my favorite supermarket though they do have some plus points. A good bakery (enjoy their cookies) fresh fruit and veggies at a descent price ....and that's where it ends. Thanksgiving Day is hardly the day to visit any supermarket. Unfortunately i had the task of making a last minute visit to purchase ingredients pertinent to our feast. Upon arrival, I was astonished to find the front door closed midday during peak hours of this holiday rush. I was furious to say the least, however, i was appeased by a very friendly and transparent manager by the name of Brian. He patiently explained what was going on and answered all of my questions. His friendly personality and control of the situation assured me not to worry and that if there was anything he could do, i could personally ask for him while shopping. His willingness to go above and beyond his duty, is the reason i will stay a Stater Brothers customer. They are in fact lucky to have a manager and employee as kind as he. read more

I went to this market today and when I got ready to check out I went to a check stand that had customers in it but the light wasn't on but I assumed that the cashier forgot to turn it on so I got in line and the cashier told me he was closed which I didn't have a problem with, I told him that he should put the rope up so nobody else would go in that line but before I could finish my sentence a asst manager named "Ozzy" butted in and said "HOLD ON BRO!" and never did put the rope up.
