Very tidy and a bit pricey but it's a small buisness what do you expect and honestly it is not even that much more than the staters down the road. I have the common sense to realize that the economy is tight so small buisness is gonna seem shady when it really is not even the case. The employees are super transparent and understanding, I even have seen the owner out there on the floor working with their staff. Despite this long review I only bought a case of beer, which they have a large variety of. The interesting: Across the street is Wrightwood Market which is actually just a gas station store. We were confused and first went to the "market" but found our way to the actual market here.

Every time I buy chicken here, I get chicken juice all over my hands because they're terrible at wrapping it in their little styrofoam trays with saran wrap. They're always leaky. And the produce is often subpar compared to other stores. Wilted or spotted from age. But alas, they're the closest store, so I keep ending up there. Do I recommend? Absolutely not! Sometimes I drive an extra 15 mins just to have better options.

I was shocked at the actual square footage of this store as it looks much smaller from the street. Additionally, I never noticed they have a Starbucks within. Initially I only intended to stop in for a meager bag of tortilla chips, but I soon found myself walking other aisles just to peruse the variety of goods available. There's a full-service bakery with an impressive display case near the entrance (adjacent to the Starbucks), and the steaks at the meat counter were equally attractive. The deli section was doing a good business with several people in line for sandwiches, and I noticed a hot soup station, as well. I hate shopping at Lake Arrowhead village on weekends due to the traffic and, though this Jensens was doing a very brisk business, the ease of parking is so much better. I have been relying on the little market in Cedar Glen (a former Jensens, ironically) for emergency "basics, " but it's nice to know there is a larger, better-stocked, option available a short five miles distant.
