Every stater bros gives kids cookies as part of there stores. We went here to do grocery shopping and they didn't give our son a cookie like always, they say they don't do that here. We also got a card for the cookies, from the other store we shop at hidden valley and River there they always take care of our son. Been shopping here for 3 years and had zero issues.. However, the new manager refused to sell my 34 year old pregnant wife alcohol because she didnt have her ID on her and then refused to sell me alcohol when I drove down there because I was "purchasing it for a miner". Idk who hired this idiot Julio C. as a service manager but he needs to be fired ASAP. He was extremely rude and had zero common sense. If I ran this branch I would terminate him immediately. I usually shop at Stater Bros and this one is close to the gym, so I have been a few times. There was one time where they were unloading pallets and boxes and it was hard to get around all the employees unloading things and all of the pallets everywhere. I'm not sure if this is standard, but they only have the 15 item of less cashier open, but someone slows the line down with a full cart. So things to ponder, I guess, but overall, they have everything in stock, the produce is fresh and it's close to my gym. I will come back if I need something and am in the area. read more

Went shopping and as it was later in the day we decided to grab some chicken tenders from the Service Deli and all they had were the spicy, which the wife doesn't like, and the young lady working said it would be a while. Having worked in management in a grocery store coupled with the fact that it was close to 5 pm the hot case should have had ALL products readily available for sale. I asked the young lady if she knew that the regular tenders were empty, why would she not already have some ready to come out of the fryer. So once again, my wife and I come into Stater Bros. to shop and it's busy. We are in line, and get moved into Victor's line; there was a guy in front of us, who I assumed works at the store as well. He asks Victor where he has been, to which Victor replies "In the back, cleaning up the new people's mess," the guy laughs and Victor says, "Yeah they suck." So already bad mouthing his employees in front of customers. Then, when it's our turn, decides to answer his text and has his phone out on the register till and is just reading that text. He hasn't said Hi to us, he didn't thank my wife for bagging for him, just looking at his phone while "helping" his customers. Oh and the best part, he charged us for an extra item. All because he wasn't paying attention. The man clearly has no busy being in customer service and should just stay in the back. No interaction with any customer, just like he is good at. I recently moved to Corona and this Stater Bros is my favorite. Its my quick one stop shop whether its for a quick snack or ideas for dinner. What makes this stater bros my favorite is the outstanding customer service. I am always greeted with a welcoming smile that makes me feel like everyone knows my name. The store manager Victor wears many hats. He jumps on the register when the line gets long or jumps to help bag items and have seen him many times at the deli relieving the staff since we all love the chicken and mac and cheese. Rotten Pork Chops I bought pork chops at this store tonight got home, opened them and immediately smelled they were rancid/rotten; you guys need to do better ‼you remodeled the store; yet the quality of your meat is still bad. I stopped shopping at the store about 7 years ago because I bought chicken here and it was bad; I didn't know it. I ate the chicken and it made me sick. You remodeled the store recently and I thought wow maybe that was a one off experience; however, there appears to be very little or NO quality control in the meat department! I love this Stater Brothers! I'm in multiple times a week for small purchases and I always leave smiling because the staff is awesome. I'm terrible with names but there are so many great people working here. Most of the cashiers have tons of experience and treat you like a friend. The baggers are quick and don't squish stuff. The meat and deli department workers nail the weight every time and often ask what's for dinner. I've never shopped here without a floor worker asking if I've found everything I need. And you can tell who the managers are because they definitely handle business! Not to mention they're good with kids; produce offers samples at the fruit counter and during the holidays they'll always tease about the hidden elf on the shelf and hand out cute stickers. As long as you're respectful to the workers, you'll feel very welcomed and comfortable when you're here. read more

The items in some of the aisles are confusing. For example, some of the paper products are with food items and there's other paper items in a different aisle. There are couple other aisles like that which makes takes longer to find things. But my main thing coming here is the meat department. They have great meats. read more

This Stater Bro's is inside a plaza. Their is a donut shop, a dentist office, a nail salon and a gym in this plaza. The size of this Stater Bro's is smaller than others, so I'm gonna say it's like a neighborhood Wal Mart. It has most of the groceries you will need. My fiancé and I come here pretty often because it's like just down the street from our house. We don't have to go too far to find some quick ingredients to make our meals of the day. We always run out of certain things throughout the week, so we would come here. It's less than a 5 minute drive. You can say it's our safe haven when need to pick up some quick groceries. I knocked down 2 star because they don't always have welcoming workers. Customer services is very important to me. Sometimes, the people their can be kinda rude. Maybe, just maybe they don't like their jobs lol. You can at least try to put on a front for better customer services. But I guess as long as I can find what I want, it's ok haha... read more

This grocery place pretty much has your basics if you're starving. There's some roasted chicken ready a little before 830 am. (Convenient for those who work nights and are technically having dinner when everyone else wants cereal and milk. Or maybe those who just like meat). Produce is pretty fresh as well. The strawberries are 1.99 for a box or so which is perfect for a smoothie. I do have to give them a 4/5 for their beef cuts because they look nice and fresh. I've gone to the Ralph's and Vons nearby and they look suspicious. I'm no butcher but you can tell when the moo has gone out of the cow if you catch my drift. Overall, would I go back? Poor customer service seem to be the norm here and management don't seem to care. Some reviews I've read dated back to 2010, peoples' main complain has been bad customer service. I like Stater Bros! Healthy and not as expensive as Whole Foods. This one is the closest location to my parent's house as well as my work. I can spend hours just walking through aisles and browsing around. The location itself is not hard to find, Google Map will take you right to the place. Even though there are bunch of other stores in the same complex finding parking was not a problem. There are ample amount of space available. The store's little smaller compared to one in Irvine/Tustin but it was neat and organized. I usually buy my produce from here only, its healthy and always fresh. Staff here were extremely nice and super friendly! The guy that was helping me asked me at least 3 times whether I needed any help in regards to carrying the groceries to my car. Store #62 on Border is the absolute worst Stater Bros market around. They consistently over charge for plastic bags; when you say one bag they charge you for two. They don't reinforce mask wearing for customers or staff. Do yourself a favor and visit a different grocery store. read more

The people who work at this location are always friendly. But I'm giving this location 2 stars because they never have more then 2 lanes opened it's a hassle specially when you only have 6 items and the express lane is backed up. What should be a quick 10 min trip turns in a 30 min trip just because they only have two lanes opened. They should hire more people during rush hours. read more
