He got short with someone who simply asked if he had a specific beer, saying that he was closing the store an hour early and wanted to get out, all while another customer was waiting at the counter for an extended duration. So glad I had enough bourbon with me in my hotel room that I didn't need to spend more than 2.5X the retail cost for a halfway decent bottle. Buyers need to send a message to retailers that it's the retailers responsibility to handle incoming expenses and not to just pass extra fees to clients. The store clerk did not explain to me that there was a fee for using a debit card. I did not notice a sign saying that there would be a fee.
