I ordered the 'Coquito iced latte', a guava & queso pastry, and a 'Coquito Tres Leches'...all 'To Go'. Let me just start by saying that the 'Tres Leches Coquito' should be Illegal of how Good it is. The quesito & guava pastry is right behind it of how yummy it is. They DONT skimp on the ingredients. I've had better chicken empanadas and alcapurrias at other places, so these didn't quite wow me the way I was hoping they would. They were still enjoyable, just not the best I've ever had. I placed my order to go because I wanted to enjoy lunch with my daughter, so I didn't spend much time inside the restaurant. From what I saw, though, the atmosphere seemed cozy, clean, and inviting--a nice spot to sit down, relax, enjoy a meal, or even get some work done while sipping on a coffee. One thing I really appreciate is having a Puerto Rican café right here in Clifton. It's always great to support local businesses, especially ones that bring authentic flavors and culture to the community. Places like this add character to the area and are worth supporting. Overall, it was a positive experience with good food, great drinks, and excellent customer service. While a few menu items didn't quite exceed my expectations, I would definitely come back to try other offerings. Now, I believe someone from the family of this place opened El Coqui Cafe right next door. I love El Coqui.
