Examined my pet Daisy while eyeing me up and down. Creepy on top of creepy. They know I'm Gay. Could not make a followup appointment for much needed dental work trying 3 separate calls to no avail. 3 separate attempts after running out of antibiotics for bad teeth. They came back with "how did she do on the antibiotic" asking me for what sounded like a professional vet observation which I am not. Then said we want to give her another 20 day regimen of the antibiotic, but made no followup appointment ... ... ... Don't animals become immune to too many antibiotics like humans do? Becoming frustrated I said screw you. My records arrived in the mail with the wrong second dog added "Choo Toy ... Poodle, Toy ... Neutered". Some kind of joke? They said he's on your account ... I am Gay, but never owned a Toy Poodle. Did I pay for someone else scam? Paying for combined services for a pet I DO NOT OWN? Always wondered why they had to have a sign up on the wall "Anyone saying abusive things to staff will be told to leave with records following close behind". Something like that. Why would you need such a sign in the first place? They hung up on me after I apologized and tried to file a complaint about the "Doctor's" behavior, trying to get the additional antibiotics for my next different vet appointment 10 days in the future. Refused me the needed antibiotics. They're the ones with a problem ... Won't accept a valid complaint ... Plus Endangering my dogs health. While sitting 2 hours past my scheduled appointment, a lady complained they had killed one of her pets taking it into the back recently! ¡ Happy to move on ! Hope you find someone to satisfy Dr Dixon. I've never been interested or available but I am insulted by it. Damaged by it. Embarrassed.

Today was my first visit with Timberlake Animal Hospital. I chose them because their website was…read moreuser friendly and allowed me to set up appointments without waiting on a phone The environment was clean and welcoming, and the front staff were attentive and prompt. I was greeted immediately after stepping into the lobby. The tech who assisted me (Alyssa) was awesome! She was patient with me while I struggled to answer some questions and research information on my cat. She was very informative and knowledgeable about treatment/shot options. Everyone there was gentle and sweet with Tibbins, my aging kitty Dr Bethany Marshall was INCREDIBLE! She was engaging, approachable, and gracious with my questions and concerns. It was evident she loves her job, and she treated Tibbins as if she were her own kitty. There was potential bad news, but Dr Marshall relayed the information with a positive spin and even remained a little while after the visit to answer any additional questions I had. I will DEFINITELY be taking all of my pets there from now on. I can't sing their praises enough!!

Dr. Dove and May examined her and then spent a great deal of time discussing end of life issues. It was the hardest decision I've ever had to make but I realized that she was in pain and made that difficult decision. Dr. Dunn, May, Abby and Cassy were so kind and supportive! I love my dogs passionately and couldn't have gotten through it without that. I prefer Pawprints because they spend all the time needed to evaluate your pet and discuss options with you. And never push for unnecessary drugs or tests. And every staff member that I have dealt with has been kind and caring.

The kind where they charge a credit card surcharge, the floors are sticky, the snacks are sad, and the vibe is questionable? Now imagine a doctor's office using that same financial blueprint. I brought my mom's elderly chihuahua in for an impromptu urgent care visit. The office itself is lovely: clean, quiet, comfy seating, relaxing music, and WiFi strong enough to get work done. The wait was long (about 4 hours), but it is urgent care, so no complaints there. Once we were seen, the vet techs were kind, the doctor was thorough, and the bloodwork was done quickly on site. They told me the cost of each test beforehand, a little high but not wildly outside what I expected. Here is where things went left. When it was time to check out, the front desk staff (who were otherwise very nice) came out and announced the total at full volume. I am not a fan of people being in my financial business, and I am sure other people do not want me in theirs. Earlier, another woman was told her dog's treatment would be $900, loud enough that the entire waiting room reflexively made a "yikes" face. Helpful? No. Awkward? Yes. Financial privacy? Nonexistent. But the real kicker: I was told that paying with a credit card adds a 3 percent surcharge, but paying in cash or debit does not. A cash preferred doctor's office? Where people are routinely dropping hundreds of dollars? It felt extremely greedy. To be fair, if they are going to have this policy, it should at least be clearly posted on the door, at the counter, anywhere. Give people a heads up before they are stuck choosing between hundreds in cash or a surprise surcharge. Transparency is not hard, and it goes a long way. When I asked why, the staffer shrugged and said, "It is to cover the credit card charge. Other places do it." Me: "Yeah, gas stations." Him: "We do not make the policy." I guess. Overall: 4 stars for care, 1 star for nickel and diming people like a sketchy downtown storefront.

My quiet, timid 3 year old golden retriever LOVES Dr. Bruce (and Tyler at the front desk!) and my mother's almost 1 year old spicy little Pomeranian (who can be quite a handful-- sorry guys ) even responds super well to them. The care is top notch, and AFFORDABLE. I couldn't believe how reasonable their prices were, especially for everything you get! We drive from Lexington even though there are emergency vets a bit closer. The last visit was when we recovered our male whippet Jaime, who had been lost in the woods for 11 days. He was covered in ticks, had lost ten pounds, and had several bite wounds. Dr. Tubman sewed him up, got rid of the ticks, and put him on doxycycline to prevent Lyme disease. Another time we had to rush our whippet Scout in when she collapsed in the yard. We had Dr. Tubman that time too. She opened Scout up, but unfortunately she had hemangiosarcoma and the tumor had burst. It was simply devastating, but Dr. Tubman handled the euthanasia with such kindness and compassion. Every time we have had to go there, the staff has been wonderful and doctors are exceptional. I give them the highest recommendation!

They had all the meds on-site and we were home in under 2 hours. They encouraged us to call if we had any questions over the weekend (which we did, and they answered questions over the phone). And then to my surprise, they called a week later to check on our dog and ask how she was doing. I've been to quite a few emergency vets in the last 10 years and this one was one of the best. Highly recommend, especially if you're scared for your fur baby or it's after-hours.

It pawed at it's mouth like it was in pain, it may have a couple of bad teeth that should be pulled .... I never received a phone call with an estimate, or alterative options like Euthanize the Cat. When I was told the cat was ready to go home, I was told the cat had a serious teeth/gum disease and the bill WAS OVER TWELVE HUNDRED DOLLARS !!! Like I said, no compasion for the customers bank account. But here, the U.S. Dollar, above all else, gets their attention. This place offers excellent healthcare at a PREMIUM ! And not forthcoming with estimates. Be ready to pay BIGTIME.
