12/5/2018: Today, I had to obtain change from a £20.00 note from the Safestay Concierge so, I may wash all my clothes.
HEADS UP!!!!! Please recount FIVE TIMES the change given to you! One of the Safestay Concierge who I wanted change, shorted my change by £10.00!!!! Why~I outta-grrrrrr~Dude! Where's the rest of my change, Man, eh?
I counted the change he gave me right in front of him: Yah, Dude~I know I'm dyslexic but, I know how to count money, Man~What's up, eh? Cough up another £10.00, DUDE!
The Concierge DUDE sheepishly replied, "OOOOOHHHHH~. . . "
DUDE-You're busted! Finally, he gives me the £10.00: I give him the proverbial, nonplus EYE-ROLL then, I began appearing disgusted, miffed . . .
Yah, DUDE~NOT COOL-You realize what you did IS NOT COOL, eh? I gave the Dude one last glaring, eagle-eye, stare match . . .
Ok-I finished my stare match and proceeded going downstairs armed with the CORRECT CHANGE and all my laundry stuffed in my hand-carry bag in order, washing and drying my clothes: £3.50 for washing and £1.50 for drying.
IMPORTANT: PLEASE pack in your check-in luggage at least, TEN little laundry detergent packets, ten color bleach packets, and 20 fabric softener sheets because you won't find the familiar brands in UK much less, in the little Mom & Pop grocery stores or shops-I already checked Waterloo Station=ZIPPO, zilch, nada, ZERO. So . . . Please also pack the detergent packets inside THREE Ziplock baggies, i.e., laundry packet, explosion prevention while flying 40,000 feet.
Complications: Be careful using the front loading washers because the selector buttons' contacts are worn down so, the selector may NOT wash on the delicate cycle or your preferred cycle-check and recheck before activating the start button. Also, some of the dryers are inoperative so, check making sure you don't attempt using an inoperative dryer . . . Like I did-DOH!
While waiting for the clothes completing their wash cycle, I walked across the hall to the food restaurant/bar area: I bought a can of Coca Cola for £1.50 and got some ice water for my Yeti, water bottle. Also, in the morning, the food restaurant serves breakfast for £5.00 daily; I haven't eaten breakfast due to my circadian rhythm is so out of whack, out of sync but, I'll try eating breakfast tomorrow informing YELP the breakfast food rating . . . Ok~I'm signing out-later, YELPing Peeps-lol~ZZZZZZzzzzzz~ read more
