Russ was stellar to work with from when my husband reached out asking if he could sell our RZR's and get us on the wait list for a new 2021 model. Within a couple weeks, we hauled two RZR's up to his shop and they posted them online and came back with a quote on how much they'll be able to sell them for and take care of the payoff with the bank. In addition to that they set us up with the same bank to transfer the money we made from the sales towards the new machine payoff. We got on the list early March for the next available RZR and was expecting to get a machine mid April. My husband got a text from Russ saying it was there two weeks later. We just picked it up and will be taking it back so they can add on all the features we want, which they've been more than accommodating to help order the parts and will contact us when it's there to build onto the RZR. The entire purchase was effortless. The Salesperson was a pleasure to work with as was the office staff. Theyy got my Honda Pioneer 1000-6 ready two days before the promised delivery date. We took our 1998 Polaris to steadmas On January 2nd 2024. They told us they could take care of it and they would keep us posted. Nobody ever called for almost 3 weeks when we finally called back, they told us that it wasn't the carburetor it was something else, but it was going to cost more money. They still couldn't guarantee that they could fix it. Larry steadmas person said I should know better than to work on machines that are 10 years old or older. I wish I would've been told that when I consulted the repair people at Steadman's that they would not take machines that were old but they sure charge me $207 to do nothing to the machine. When I picked up the machine on Saturday and brought it home, I noticed that the screws that used to hold my carburetor box were missing and also my gas tank is empty very disappointed on the lack of service and honesty with this place. once upon a time the _only_ place to purchase a motorsports product, they slid far off the mark the original owners had set. Most of the original sales staff is gone, and other than Larry, their parts guys are arrogant jerks more interested in talking about their own bikes than providing customer service. Was a customer for 21 years, having purchased 9 bikes/ATVs, with them doing all bi-yearly maintenance. SLC is less headache, more pleasant. There is also Wicked Motorsports. They're not a dealer, but they are very fast and competent for repair and service. read more

We took in our Polaris in to have a CV joint replaced and the foot brake repaired. The replacement is fine but the brake work didn't even last a month, it quit working on my third ride. We paid for a new set of CV joints and they kept one of them. One of the guys working in the showroom is a jerk. My husband was checking out a pair of Oakleys in the display case. The price wasn't visible so he asked the guy behind the counter how much they were. His response? "You couldn't afford them." What? We'd just spent over $700.00 getting my bike worked on. Just because we were wearing jeans and ball caps (like he was) doesn't make us sub human. His ignorant response and dismissive tone were extremely annoying, and we will take our business elsewhere. This is a great family-owned dealership. They stay involved in the community and go to great pains to ensure great customer service. I needed some recall work done on my RZR and called to ask about it. They put me on their list and informed me that once the parts were received from Polaris they would be in touch. About a week later I got the call and was able to take it in the next morning. They performed the work while I waited so that I only had to make one trip around the mountain! Was looking at a few different sxs. They were the cheapest and most hassle free place I went to and had everything they offer except pioneers in stock. They also have quite a few used units which most others don't, especially sxs. They charge MSRP and a small doc fee. Whereas other dealers have units priced thousands over msrp and charge nearly 1 grand in set up and delivery fees. They will try to sell you on polaris, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. You can actually drive the units around which only 1 other dealer I went to was able to do. They offer just about every big brand out there, twice I've come in looking at something that looks better on paper and left with something different because I was able to ride, feel how comfortable they are, how they handle and hear them run. They also fixed my rhino in 1 week and 1/3 of the price after it took south valley having it twice and it being tied up in their shop for 3 months. Best place to get on the trail cheapest, fixed the fastest and cheapest and stay on the trails. read more

We have a couple dealers near us in Heber City but they do not take care of our snow machine like Steadmans so yes, I drive almost two hours because they are exceptional. Price is excellent also. Without a doubt, Steadman's Recreation carry some great products. Their customer service is, in two words, sub par. My wife and I went there shopping for a UTV. After 20 minutes of walking around (both inside and outside) no one ever came to us and asked if we needed help. This was rather disappointing, especially when Steadman's is no longer the ONLY place in Tooele to buy UTVs. They lost a sale from me that day and I ended up purchasing from their new competition. read more

Untrustworthy people and do not respect their word. Stay away trust is low and are shady people. read more

We just purchased a Honda Pioneer at Steadman's. We live in Salt Lake and had visited all the Honda dealerships in the area. We decided to make the short trip to Tooele and it was way worth it! Everyone there was very helpful and nice. We ended up buying our pioneer from them because of the wonderful service but also they were thousands of dollars cheaper than anyone in Salt Lake!
