They would cut out the drywall, remove the flooring, place fans and dehumidifiers and spray my basement and belongings that got wet for mold. I will say, I was impressed initially with their prompt service, however, when my insurance adjuster was asking me for a bill, I asked Vivian to send it to me and she refused. She would not send it to me, but would send it to the adjuster. (Why she couldn't send it to me so I could give it to him, I have no idea). I informed the adjuster and asked him to send me a copy when he received it, which he promptly did. I'm not sure if I made her mad by asking for a bill, but she pulled out the fans and dehumidifiers 2 days early (still charged us for the full amount of time and basement WAS NOT dry, but was fairly minimal cost wise so I figured it was more hassle to fight for that cost to be taken off. She also charged us a substantial amount for spraying for mold, which she had not done, and her grandson who came and took the fans and dehumidifiers had no clue what we were talking about when we asked him. I contacted Vivian, she had her grandson come back out and spray for mold but he did not move anything or spray our belongings. They also never cut the drywall out or removed flooring, which delayed our drywall repair because the contractor had to cut it out and the walls were wet behind the drywall. After all the work was done (not really, but apparently it was up to the standards of Best Cleaning), I contacted Vivian to ask where to send the check on June 1st. She responded with the mailing address on June 2nd. I put the check in the mail on June 4th (a Thursday) and received a call on June 8th (Monday) from Vivian asking where her check was. I told her I sent it last week and she was a little rude, saying that the check should been there already. I told her I didn't know why it wasn't there but that it was put in the mail at the end of last week. She said she would call me Wednesday (June 10th) if she had not received it. I did not hear back from her, so contacted her Saturday (June 13th) asking if she received the check and that my book was not balancing. She responded that she had received it. As of June 16th, the check was still not cashed, so I emailed again asking when she would cash it and she has not responded as of today (June 17th). I figured since she was in such a hurry to get the check (for the full amount including cost of work and equipment that we did not receive), that she would more prompt on cashing the check. I'm sorely disappointed in this service. ServPro quoted us at more, but I feel that we would have been better taken care of with them and that the job would have been done right. I figured using a local company, I would get better service, but that was not the case with Best Cleaning. This company also cleaned my husband's uncles home recently after he passed away. We went to clean out his belongings after and it did not look at all like they had been there. They were supposed to clean the carpets and clean out the refrigerator. His uncle passed away 3 months prior to us being able to get over and clean out his belongings. My mother in law and I opened the fridge to find horrible rotting food and a deep freezer full of meat that was unplugged (by who? Who knows?) for the last 3 months with rotting meat. The carpet had dog hair everywhere and the bathroom was filthy - to the point that we would not use it until we cleaned it ourselves. Please use my and my family's experience to your benefit and avoid this cleaning company.
