The previous two summers were disappointing, and against my better judgment, I gave them one more chance this season. At the beginning of the season, I made it clear that I wasn't just looking for someone to cut grass -- I wanted full property maintenance, including fertilization, weeding, edging the beds, and trimming. They assured me this would not be a problem. From the start, the service was a disaster. I constantly had to call them to handle weeds, bushes that had been knocked down, and trimming. They would mow the lawn but but pass by dead branches multiple times until I called them. In late August, I requested a fertilization and grass treatment. Their office manager called a few days later to schedule it, telling me to leave the materials outside. They never showed up and stood me up on several appointments. After not showing up for two appointments I got a call that they wanted to combine the fertilizer and weed treatment and would be there later i the day. I had My wife had to rush to purchase three bags of fertilizer so it would be ready -- and once again, they never showed up. When they finally came and after I communicated 3 times what product to use, they applied the wrong treatment to my lawn, which is 100% bluegrass and very sensitive to chemicals. After they applied the wrong treatment they sent me a bill. After sending them an email about this about this they agreed to waive it. A week later on the normal grass cut day nobody showed up. Several more days passed and grass was extremely long. I went to email them. And realized I somehow missed this email from them. I am copying and pasting it. Good morning Duane, You can not apply another clover killer to your grass, it will burn it.. The company decided to stop services going forward as of today. We believe you would benefit from a dedicated gardener service, which we do not provide. I will process the credit card for this week's services today, but not the weed killer application. Despite having assured me they could handle everything and charging nearly $7,000 over the summer I am left to find a new company with a few weeks left in the summer. I will add The office manager was always polite, but the owner's wife, who appears to run the operations, is extremely domineering and unprofessional. I share this detailed experience to save others time and money. NV Landscaping might be okay for a basic grass cut, but if you have a high-end property and want true maintenance with attention to detail and good customer service, this is not the company for you."

Incredibly expensive for the size of plant you get - the minimums for the plugs pretty outrageous and impossible unless your spending thousands of dollars, literally. Yes, they have a plethora of plants that are not sold elsewhere as well as an enormous amount of plants, priced exorbitantly, that are sold everywhere. I started planting my garden this year and spent a hefty sum at Earth Tones two months ago in early May. I hugely hugely regret it. Currently my garden is a collection of plants purchased at three nurseries with Earth Tones being one of the three. Almost every single plant purchased at earth tones is covered with powdery mildew. Three Valeriana officinalis, each planted across a 40 foot expanse - covered in mildew - plants next to them from another nursery - nothing as of now. It started on the two Antennaria plantaginifolia plants, which errupted in a frothy mildew as soon as they started to grow. This mildew is now showing on all the plants I purchased from Earth Tones. I am really upset. This morning, I threw away 70$ worth of plants. I fear I will have to throw away more since it is starting to spread across my garden. The sedges I bought? Dying and so unhappy. The purple love grass. Full of weeds and barely growing. The the plants came with So. Many. Weeds, both visible and invisible seedlings, it is beyond frustrating. It feels super careless, especially at the incredible price point they are selling their plants. Not a single plant from the other nurseries are showing this mildew or struggling, but the plants from ET - it started showing a couple of weeks after they went into the ground. I spent over $500 at Earth Tones and I will never spend another dime. I am hoping I can save the rest of my garden from being infected. My other plants are thriving, my other grasses are exploding with joy. Please be careful when purchasing from them. I do not recommend this nursery or their quality.
