Despite being the only customer in the drive-thru, I waited a few minutes before anyone took my order, and the employee on the speaker sounded annoyed that I was there at all. The payment window experience was much better - the staff member was friendly and happily added fries to my order when I asked. Unfortunately, things went downhill at the pickup window. The employee opened the window without any greeting and simply stuck my drink out. When I smiled and asked "how are you today?" I received only a frown and complete silence in return. Her only communication was telling me to "pull up to window 3" while pointing to window 2. Thankfully, the young man who delivered my food at the correct window was friendly and professional. I'm not looking for anything free - just sharing feedback. With so many dining options in the area and service like this, I'm unlikely to return to this location. Side note: I was surprised that medium fries cost $3.50 while double cheeseburgers were under $3.00 each. The pricing seems backward.

But let me tell you something, Melvin's got it worked out to a science. One person takes your order. One person makes your hamburger. One person puts the hamburger in the bag and the other person takes your money. I was in and out of there in less than 2 minutes. It cracked me up. The menu is quite limited. You can have a hamburger or a cheeseburger or a hot dog and that's it. You can't even get fries. You can get a bag of chips which is what I did and some random cookie for a dollar. I enjoyed getting in the car and having my lunch for the ride back home. The hamburger was good and so was the pric... less than five bucks. I got it all the way with coleslaw and ketchup and mustard. and chili Melvin's has been around forever, and it was clear that the locals love it. The line was long and the place was pretty full. We got the Napkins burger with the brussel sprouts being the star. The brussels come with pineapple thai chili sauce, but we liked the brussels without it and opted to use the delicious sauce as a dip for our french fries. The burger was tasty, but nothing out of this world. It was cooked perfectly and I liked the Napkins famous sauce on it. The only thing was that the burger kept slipping out of the bun and it was very messy to eat as we kept putting the burger back together. The shawarma with chicken thigh was delicious. I would pair this with the brussels next time and you'd have a winning combination. The fries were good too, but the brussels are the winning side choice. Glad we stopped by on our road trip for a satisfying and filling lunch. It's worth the stop and everything tastes fresh and is well worth the price. The brewery is not Napkins, but the staff inside behind the bar was super helpful and more than happy to let my husband try the beers before making his choice. I ordered three steakhouse, single burgers one with extra garlic, aïoli, and one with no mushrooms, and also two large onion rings and a steakhouse medium combo regular if my burgers did not have the steakhouse meat there were none with no mushrooms and also the one with extra aïoli did not have extra aïoli. The onion rings were the impact in boxes instead of it's normal packaging, and the onion rings were very undercooked and more like mixed together inside the box with no crispiness as a person who is the owner of multiple businesses inside of the food industry this was very unacceptable not to mention the food with cold. I finally returned to the store and was able to speak with the general manager and the manager of that night who told me that she made my food herself and everything was correct which I know was untrue because I watched her and she stood at the front doing other things.
