The service here is so bad, it's comical. I suggest you read my review if only for entertainment…read morepurposes. I know it's long, but it's really unbelievable how bad things are there. In March, my heated steering wheel on my Jeep Wrangler stopped working. It is still under warrant, so I made an appointment to get it fixed. At the same time, the passenger side seat latch broke (for the 3rd time) so I asked to have that repaired as well. When I called for the appointment, I also mentioned that my brakes needed servicing as that's what I was told when I had my last appointment. I brought my Jeep in on appointment day, only to learn at the end of the day that they needed to order a part for the steering wheel and they put the seat handle on the wrong side. They'd fix that when I came in again for the steering wheel. They also said that my brakes were fine, they don't know why someone told me otherwise. When I was notified that the part was in, I called to make an appointment. The woman on the other end of the call rhymed off a bunch of additional services I was due for. I asked if they are included in my maintenance package and she said yes, but in the event that it wasn't someone would let me know. I also asked for a tire rotation. I dropped my Jeep off at for my early morning appointment. At 6:00 PM they called to tell me that they needed to keep the vehicle for another day. When I asked why, they said "logistical issues". When I asked what those were, they said the mechanic never actually got around to it. Oh, and my warranty covers a rental car but no one offered that to me. At 5:00 the next day, I was told that it was ready. When I picked it up, the service area was closed. At the sales reception desk, I was told that I owed $500 for the services. When I said that was covered by my maintenance package, the receptionist got someone from sales to help and that's when they discovered that my maintenance package had expired. I said that I was told the services were covered. The sales person said I would have to talk to a service person and unless I was willing to pay now and then dispute the charge, I couldn't take my Jeep. So I opted to leave and come back at 1:00 the next day and talk to the service manager - the time when the sales person said to come. The next day I arrive and there's no service manager there. I speak to the assistant manager and tell him about the issue with the charges and he says to go ahead and take my Jeep and he would have the service manager call me tomorrow. As I'm walking away, I look at the paperwork only to see that they replaced the HEATED SEAT and not the steering wheel. And they didn't do the tire rotation because they couldn't find the lock (They had texted me when they couldn't find it, I told them where it was and they replied that they found it. So... did they rotate the tires or not? No one knows. When I get into my Jeep, I go to plus in my iPhone only to discover that when they replaced the seat, they bolted my iPhone cable to the floor underneath it and now it's stuck there. So I make ANOTHER appointment for the steering wheel. Again, they call me at the end of the day to say that they need to order a part. But hey! They freed my iPhone cable! About a week later, I get a message that the part has arrived and I make an appointment for June 29th (remember, this started in March). A few days later, I get a text asking if I would like to come in the week before because they can take me early. I say yes, and they tell me to arrive between 8:00 and 9:00, and they'll also change the rental date for me. Fast forward to today. I pull in, and they go to look up my appointment and it's not in the system. After some fussing around, they find my paperwork and call me an Uber (no rental??). As I'm waiting, I recount to one of the service employees the bad experiences I've been having. His response was "I'm not surprised". A few minutes after I arrive home they text me to apologize, the message then sent me about rescheduling was supposed to be for another customer with the same name. Now I wait to see what fiasco will happen next. Every time I take it in, there's some small issue (once they replaced the wipers even though I hadn't asked them to). But the service is so bad now that I question the safety of their repairs. How can so many things be overlooked or messed up on one vehicle? After today, I am going to see what other dealerships will honour the Mopar warranty. I am not comfortable having these guys touch my vehicle any more.

Filling in their websites quick form, I was surprised when they contacted me that same afternoon. The entire process of financing and purchasing my new car was quick and more importantly, painless. I have no problem recommending O'Regan's to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. I was impressed with the friendly, respectful attitude from both Robert Drohan and Tine Kidd, and will happily recommend them to my friends and family. Thank you both for making my decision and purchase a pleasure. My only regret is that I hadn't dealt with O'Regan's for my previous vehicles. #HalifaxAuthor

Buying a car is always a stressful situation for me…read more Up until last summer, i owned a 1999 Toyota Camry, and I loved it dearly. But, there comes a time in every good car's life where maintenance costs aren't worth it, and it's time to get something else. Things like this are stressful, and as of last August, I was in a pinch to have more maintenance completed or find a new mode of transportation - fast. So, I set out on a Saturday with a clear head, a focused set of demands for a new vehicle, and the hope that I would soon have a solution to my problem. The first place I visited was the O'Regan's Used Car Centre. The sales specialist that greeted me was Dean Cook, and he immediately was able to define what I was looking for and come up with some suggestions. I can't say I was the easiest customer to deal with, but he was able to give me some perspective on some options that fit my criteria. I visited a few other used car locations that same day, but nothing else was able to compare to both the service and options that I was able to find at O'Regan's, and before the afternoon was out, I had made a purchase from Dean! It was a bit of a sudden transition to be offered to take home my new toy for the weekend and finish the paperwork on Monday, but I obliged. The staff here are a direct extension of the O'Regan group of companies, so the sales staff have access to all the O'Regan lots and will bring cars to you, if their is something in their database that you are interested in at another location. Additionally, they take trade-ins, made sure my car was washed, tossed in some free mats and did some break work on the car free of charge when I noticed a couple things I wanted adjusted. I really valued the time and attention that the staff give each customer here - there's a tendency to visit other used car locations and deal with seemingly shady salesman, but not here. I'd consider this the first and best spot to look for a 2nd-hand car in Halifax.

In 2024, I purchased a vehicle for my wife. Brand new 2024 Altima with extended warranty and all in cash deal. Less than two years after the purchase and less than 10K km per year on the vehicle it started to make a popping noise each time we put it in gear. We took it in for its regular routine service and told the advisor of the noise. To our disappointment, we were advised that the routine service was performed but we needed an appointment to further explore said noise. Having no option but to comply, we scheduled an appointment to address the "noise ". The car was taken in on a Friday night for a Saturday morning appointment. We received a call on Saturday afternoon to pick up the car at which time we were informed that they had performed an (unauthorized) brake job and that they felt that was the issue. (It wasn't). They said that the service technician had done a road test and heard nothing. To both my wife's and my amazement, we simply asked who did the road test. The technician was summoned to take a quick ride with us and before we could move from the parking space we heard the noise. The technician looked at us both and said .... "OH". As if to suggest oh $hit. We went back in the service room and were informed that since it was Saturday, we would have to schedule yet another appointment. All that said, a new appointment was scheduled, but we were given assurance. There was nothing to worry about and that my wife could continue to drive this vehicle. The person in Service said oh it probably just needs a little grease on the axles no problem. Fast forward to the appointment date. My wife was about 30 minutes late because she was not feeling well on the day of the appointment. When she called to ask if she could bring the car in anyway, she was told that she would have to schedule yet another appointment. This appointment would put us at about 35 days of trying to work this issue out with the dealership. Therefore, the next week I reached out to the service manager, who was far from empathetic, concern, or for that matter, professional. When I mentioned to him what my concerns were, he basically blew it off in one of the most condescending manners that I've ever been spoken to. Initially, he would not return any calls that I made to him until I left a message saying that if I did not hear from him, I would come to the dealership to speak to him in person. That got a quick call from him with him basically saying that there was not much more he could do. Either therefore escalate the matter to the general manager to try to get an appointment sooner than the one that they had pushed out to the end of July. After a lot of finagling, the general manager was able to get us in approximately a week sooner than we were actually scheduled. It was then that we learned that the front axle of a practically new vehicle was in need of repair. This we learned after being told that the vehicle was safe to drive while my wife and I took a trip to the Annapolis Valley in a car with a blown axle. In my opinion, this dealership has a service department filled with incompetence and personnel, lacking empathy, respect, and a sense of responsiveness to their customers. While I would never recommend people to not support local businesses, this is one that I can personally advise people to stay away from. This may be an isolated situation or it may be a symptom indicative of a much bigger problem that has not been expressed by other consumers. I believe strongly that when people spend hard earned money, they should be treated with respect and most of all, when it comes to the health and safety of consumers, especially when dealing with automobiles, it is not something that should be blown off and treated as if it's not a big deal. Lastly, just to be certain that we never experienced another mishap with this dealer relative to the automobile we purchased, my wife and I decided to part ways with this vehicle. The rating system only allows one star, however, if I were able to give them zero stars I would have.

Unlike the $20,000 piece of crap my boyfriend got sold from Super Dave's.
