The service here is so bad, it's comical. I suggest you read my review if only for entertainment…read morepurposes. I know it's long, but it's really unbelievable how bad things are there.
In March, my heated steering wheel on my Jeep Wrangler stopped working. It is still under warrant, so I made an appointment to get it fixed. At the same time, the passenger side seat latch broke (for the 3rd time) so I asked to have that repaired as well. When I called for the appointment, I also mentioned that my brakes needed servicing as that's what I was told when I had my last appointment.
I brought my Jeep in on appointment day, only to learn at the end of the day that they needed to order a part for the steering wheel and they put the seat handle on the wrong side. They'd fix that when I came in again for the steering wheel. They also said that my brakes were fine, they don't know why someone told me otherwise.
When I was notified that the part was in, I called to make an appointment. The woman on the other end of the call rhymed off a bunch of additional services I was due for. I asked if they are included in my maintenance package and she said yes, but in the event that it wasn't someone would let me know. I also asked for a tire rotation.
I dropped my Jeep off at for my early morning appointment. At 6:00 PM they called to tell me that they needed to keep the vehicle for another day. When I asked why, they said "logistical issues". When I asked what those were, they said the mechanic never actually got around to it. Oh, and my warranty covers a rental car but no one offered that to me.
At 5:00 the next day, I was told that it was ready. When I picked it up, the service area was closed. At the sales reception desk, I was told that I owed $500 for the services. When I said that was covered by my maintenance package, the receptionist got someone from sales to help and that's when they discovered that my maintenance package had expired. I said that I was told the services were covered. The sales person said I would have to talk to a service person and unless I was willing to pay now and then dispute the charge, I couldn't take my Jeep. So I opted to leave and come back at 1:00 the next day and talk to the service manager - the time when the sales person said to come.
The next day I arrive and there's no service manager there. I speak to the assistant manager and tell him about the issue with the charges and he says to go ahead and take my Jeep and he would have the service manager call me tomorrow. As I'm walking away, I look at the paperwork only to see that they replaced the HEATED SEAT and not the steering wheel. And they didn't do the tire rotation because they couldn't find the lock (They had texted me when they couldn't find it, I told them where it was and they replied that they found it. So... did they rotate the tires or not? No one knows.
When I get into my Jeep, I go to plus in my iPhone only to discover that when they replaced the seat, they bolted my iPhone cable to the floor underneath it and now it's stuck there.
So I make ANOTHER appointment for the steering wheel. Again, they call me at the end of the day to say that they need to order a part. But hey! They freed my iPhone cable!
About a week later, I get a message that the part has arrived and I make an appointment for June 29th (remember, this started in March). A few days later, I get a text asking if I would like to come in the week before because they can take me early. I say yes, and they tell me to arrive between 8:00 and 9:00, and they'll also change the rental date for me.
Fast forward to today. I pull in, and they go to look up my appointment and it's not in the system. After some fussing around, they find my paperwork and call me an Uber (no rental??). As I'm waiting, I recount to one of the service employees the bad experiences I've been having. His response was "I'm not surprised".
A few minutes after I arrive home they text me to apologize, the message then sent me about rescheduling was supposed to be for another customer with the same name. Now I wait to see what fiasco will happen next.
Every time I take it in, there's some small issue (once they replaced the wipers even though I hadn't asked them to). But the service is so bad now that I question the safety of their repairs. How can so many things be overlooked or messed up on one vehicle? After today, I am going to see what other dealerships will honour the Mopar warranty. I am not comfortable having these guys touch my vehicle any more.
