I took my son for the first time as a new patient just because we didn't want to drive 15mins to the one we currently go to. They do have a piece on their site talking about vaccines but I thought this was old, outdated... well right off the bat if you don't do the vaccines "mandated" by them or CDC or whatever it is they go by, you will be pretty much kicked out. I left California for this same reason and now I find it here in Texas. Even in CA is not this bad. Nobody should tell you and your family what they put in their body. There was not even an inquiry of why, or if we had an exemption. Our reasoning is very legitimate but it's just robot work for them. If you don't have this, sorry we can't see you. Which is very much fine however they want to run their business, yet enough not for me as a client. I bet will be the same for others. So my first thought is, if they are like with something as simple as a common vaccine, do I want my kid's health to be in the hands of people that work here. As good as they could be. No thanks. I ask you to reconsider before going here. Medical and dental office are so vast on this area they're probably treating each other because of how packed on top of each other their are.

In fact, after reviewing records for our last 13 appointments, most of Dr Hogarth's appointments ended in her writing us prescriptions. At one non-sick appointment, we somehow ended up leaving this doctor's office with 2 prescriptions, for a healthy child?! Operationally, there do seem to be some issues.... When we first attended my husband and o both requested to be on a one shot at a time plan. I had read a lot of stories and from friends and family experiences encouraging the one shot at a time in order to identify any allergies, side effects and care for the baby post shot. It didn't seem to be an issue when we first saw Dr. Ali. We were even told we could come in just for a shot appointment and to be seen by the nurse. As time went on, things changed and they were more passive aggressive about the request... not letting us know what the issue was. It felt like the worst case of customer service and like everyone knew something but us... mind you my husband and I are not anti vax, this is just our first time parenting and we did want to take a more cautious approach. Eventually it came time to my son starting full time childcare and he was behind on his shots. We were told we couldn't just come in for shots anymore and would have to wait until his 2yo check up.... A week later. At this point, my husband and I were aligned and desperate to get him back up to date with his shots. We let them know we were ok with him having all three shots (the one we were behind on and his 2yo shots) in one visit and then they shared they didn't have availability until after his school started. I was at a loss, asked for the shot records and called Kingsland Pediatrics who was able to see him that week to get him back on track and approved for school. It was also a week away from my son's second birthday so I was hopeful they could do his 2yo shots together for a total of three shots and they were so kind to accommodate us. Additionally when I brought up a shot plan they said we can cocreate and clear shot plan with the dr on our first visit. Fast forward to after the appointment with Kingsland pediatric, my husband and I decided to still see sprouts pediatrics as our sons primary as I really didn't want to let go of the conveniences of easy parking, the empty waiting room and emotionally my experiences being affirmed by the staff as a new mom. This past weekend my son was admitted into the hospital for wheezing and server coughing attacks that led him having trouble breathing. When Monday came his health had not progressed so I called sprouts pediatrics for an appointment. One the first call I was booked an appointment and then received a voicemail that they'd need to cancel my appointment due to us no longer being patients. When I called to ask more about it ultimately it was due to us not allowing all vaccines to be administered in one appointment... In these last two years, they could've had more candor, they could have shared with us why that approach was in the best interest of my son or made an effort to mitigate our concerns or inform of us on what we don't know about each shot. What also wasn't reassuring is when we would get a shot the one administering the shot wasn't informed on the benefits of the shot... it was not reassuring. We then asked to speak to the dr about it and she went ahead and informed us on the shot and what it prevents and what symptoms to look out for. I'm now six months pregnant and looked forward to taking both my children here. It's truly upsetting and disappointing experience I would not recommend them to any parent going forward.

Decided not to return because they hired me for a management position but…read morehad no real staff and wanted me to clean toilets, sweep, and mop their office after working a 10.5 hour shift. Instead of hiring a professional cleaning company ( as they perform minor surgeries here) they explained that was too expensive. I had to file a complaint with the department of labor for unpaid wages. Still have not received payment for the shift I worked. This office is not professionally cleaned daily.
