Town Center Pediatrics has unfortunately closed, but I wanted to share our experience. My kids had been going to this practice for 7 years, starting with Dr. Walls and ending with Dr. Lord. The care and attention from the entire team were always top-notch. I especially love Dr. Lord, her compassion, expertise, and genuine care for my children made every visit a positive experience. We had 2 children with this practice for over 2 years, and most appointments were primarily with Dr Hogarth. Towards the end of the 2 years, we worked with Dr Hogarth in getting help for our autistic daughter's digestion issue. We were hoping for a good dietary approach, but usually were offered prescription meds instead. In fact, after reviewing records for our last 13 appointments, most of Dr Hogarth's appointments ended in her writing us prescriptions. At one non-sick appointment, we somehow ended up leaving this doctor's office with 2 prescriptions, for a healthy child?! Dr. Hogarth should give more consideration to good eating habits and a healthy lifestyle, especially as a pediatric doctor! read more

My children have been patients of Dr. Lord for over eight years, and I couldn't be happier. Dr. Lord's level of care is exceptional, and her nurse, Rachel, is also phenomenal! If we are unable to see Dr. Lord for a sick visit, we usually see Dr. Gilreath, who is another sensational physician. My children will remain at TCP until they are 18, as my oldest children did! read more

My daughter has been blessed with Dr.Hogarth she takes the time to explain everything and always address my concerns.. always making me like my daughter is in safe hands. Dr. Laurie Hogarth is hands down the best pediatrician I've ever met- probably could go as far as saying the best physician I've ever come across in any specialty. We've had to change pediatricians 4 times last year and I've seen how horrible it can get with scheduling, ease of access into facilities (with a stroller), the amount of time the physician is willing to spend with you, and even the level of expertise or experience- when it comes to choosing a Ped. Most of the doctors at Town Center Pediatrics are not taking any new patients because they just have too many patients wanting to get in with them. (People who can't get in, get angry and write bad reviews about the place- which is kinda understandable.) The patients know the doctors are excellent though, and they seem to get more than enough referrals through word of mouth than they can handle. We're so lucky we got in with Dr. Hogarth. We were initially referred to see Dr. Todd but she wasn't accepting any new patients and Dr. Hogarth just happened to have 50 patients graduate from high school to go to college so she had 50 spots. Although disappointed we couldn't get in with Dr. Todd, we took a chance with Dr. Hogarth and it's the best thing we could've done for our kids. We have two Irish twin babes (2 under 2). She takes the time to address every single possible concern I may have and explain the reason for diagnosis. She will rule out other things and tell you why. I really can't say enough good things about her and the other physicians here also. I believe 4 of the physicians here are the partners/owners- Dr. Hogarth, Dr. Todd, and 2 others. They were all head of something at 4 different Texas Children's Hospitals before getting together to open their own practice. I'm not sure if ALL the doctors have stopped taking new patients, but if you can get in with any of the physicians here- jump on it. Luckily, once one of your kids are in, the doctors will definitely accept any siblings as new patients as well. read more

I'm so happy I found Dr. G!!! We've been going to her since my baby was 6 weeks, and I will continue going as long as she's in practice. Her nurse, Cindy is always so good with my baby and helpful and doesn't make it seem like any of the many questions I have are stupid. Dr. G is the best and I can tell she truly cares for her patients and loves what she does. I've also seen one of the other doctors one day when my daughter was sick, and she was amazing too. Highly recommend this practice for your babies!!! read more

We have been so blessed by Dr Hogarth, Irma, and staff at TCP. I feel they take their time they listen to my concerns and my child's. When we have had bloodwork come up strange that another Dr ordered Dr Hogarth called the specialist discussed results and called me back to explain. They are very busy and yes I am sure not perfect but I have never felt like my kiddo was not taken excellent care of by Dr Hogarth and Irma. read more

For the last 2 years we have been working with Dr. Hogarth to find the best solution for my ADHD step-daughter. While she has a great bedside manner, Dr. Hogarth has acted irresponsibly subscribing doses that are too high for such a tiny person (higher than recommended by the manufacturer)and ignoring dangerous symptoms like weight loss and neurological tics. (We had the tics on video and she verbally expressed concern but proceeded to leave her on the same drug and dosage for another 3 months!) I would not recommend this pediatrician to ANYONE and definitely will not trust her with my future children. read more

My children see Dr. Gilreath. We actually moved out of state and recently returned back to the area after 4 years. Dr. Gilreath was not accepting new patients but I asked if she wouldn't mind accepting us since my children were previous patients of hers. I was so glad when she said yes. She is a very good doctor that shares the same morals and values that I and my husband do. My kids started seeing her when they were very, very young. Although I live on the north side of town, I don't believe that I will find another physician as great as her. She is very detail oriented and she talks directly to my kids expecting them to respond rather than the parents. This is more than likely due to their age. read more

I'm writing this on behalf of my daughter. She's pregnant so she and her husband were looking for a pediatrician. She called Town Center Pediatrics. The woman said the doctors wouldn't see her until after her baby was born. As anyone with common sense would know, you don't want to wait until after the baby is born to choose a pediatrician. So, when the baby is in the hospital they won't come to the hospital to check a sick or healthy infant? Even the hospital personnel (Sugar Land Methodist) thought it was odd a doctor wouldn't visit with the parents before delivery. It's obvious the doctors at Town Center Pediatrics only want the money and nothing more. They don't care about the mother, the baby, or getting to know either one. My daughter ended up calling two other pediatric offices in the area and they gladly set up appointments to get to know her. I know, how can I give them a one star rating without even meeting them? Well, if they have a poor attitude about meeting and talking to a first time expecting mother what does that say about the care they'll give when the baby is born? read more

I was previously a patient of Dr. Walls whom I love. We unfortunately had to leave her because the insurance I had for 2 years due to a layoff she didn't accept. I was able to get different insurance through my new employer and of course called to schedule well checks for my daughters. While speaking with Lilly we got 85% through the scheduling of 1 child only for her to tell me that we wouldn't be able to see Dr. Walls because once you leave and your records are sent to another practice then you aren't able to see her as a "new patient". One would think that they would disclose this information at the beginning of a 15 minute phone call rather than waste my time. Speaking with Bonnie the manager was of zero consequence. I'm sure there is another practice in the area that has a handle on patient disclosures and handling accepting old patients back to the practice better than this was handled. It's probably best to find an office that actually wants to care for my children. read more

My experience with Town Center is actually positive EXCEPT for calling them. EVERYTIME I call and need an appointment, I wait on hold for between 8 and 15 minutes before a human answers the phone. Why is that? I hope they read this because I want to stay with them but the wait time to make an appointment is terrible. read more

We love Dr. Hogarth and all the ladies at this practice. Even when we lived in Katy we drove to Town Center Pediatrics for all three of my children. {The one negative review on this page was written years ago about my daughter and was written by someone that was NOT her mother and that has no right to speak about her medical care... she also is not longer in the picture, so please take her ugly words with a grain of salt.} I can't say enough nice things about the quality of care we have received here over the last ten years. If you want a dr. that loves and is invested in your child, then this is place for you. I am a mental health care professional and I CHOOSE this practice to care for my children. read more

Very disappointed with the handling of this practice with their existing patients. If you do not continuously go back every single year for a visit, they drop you as a patient. I have been with Dr. Emily Todd for seven years but was not seen regularly as my children are not sick very often. When the administrator asked her to reconsider me, she dropped me without any consideration. They just lost my business and my respect! Don't go here!! We have been patients of Dr. Todd and Nurse Karen for over four years now. Our son loves Dr. Todd, Nurse Karen, and Josh in the front office. Dr. Todd and Nurse Karen always answer all of my questions and concerns. Josh is always so sweet with my son. They take the best care of him and treat him like the growing little man that he is. All of the doctors and staff are kind and considerate but we hit the jack pot with Dr. Todd and Nurse Karen. I know they truly care for my son (4 years old) and my daughter (20 months old) and give us the best information and care. My son has no fears going to the doctor and I know my daughter will feel the same way when she enters her toddler years. read more
