While previously not a pleasant experience--now much worse since the prep Dr Goldberg REQUIRED was far difficult and disgusted and about 400% more expensive than that previously used. I even called him to ask about less expensive alternatives--but told "no." Since then I have spoken to other MDs who say that his required prep did not offer any significant advantage over other cheaper and easier alternatives. Also two said that they found that some people, like me, had a more adverse experience physically taking and tolerating his choice. But worse than that, was to find out later that although I was very careful in making sure that MD accepted my insurance, his office never bothering to make sure that his anesthesiologist also accepted the same ( my carrier is a major, well known and well respected insurance carrier). So now I am having to fight a over $1,400 anesthesia bill that otherwise should have been fully covered. Do not recommend

The thing I received more from Dr. Sanfilippo than any other doctor I've ever seen or met (and I work in the health and wellness industry) was personal attention, genuine care for me as a patient and my unborn child as a person. Long story short-- I had been going to the same doctor since I was 15 (Dr. Thomas Angelo of Bernardsville-- my late mother used to say, "If only all doctors were as good...."), he had retired, and I needed a new one. Dr. Postighone was suggested as a possible replacement by a friend, and he's been my regular doctor ever since. He has 2 offices-- in Stirling and Florham Park-- and is always busy, and yet his manner is consistently down-to-earth and compassionate. My major medical problem (up to now, anyway) is migraine headaches, which I've suffered from since the age of 9. As a migraine sufferer himself, Dr. Postighone is particularly in tune with what I suffer through and his suggestions regarding medication have helped spare me much unncecessary pain and suffering. In all matters where I've needed medical treatment or diagnosis (migraines, physicals, shingles, hemachromatosis...I've got the gene for it but not the disease itself..., mysterious blood spots in my eye, high cholesterol, etc.), Dr. Postighone has been cutting edge, well versed in knowledge and experience, patient, and...perhaps most importantly...kind. A good bedside manner, in and of itself, doesn't really mean much (not to me, anyway), but when you match it with skill and dedication, it makes for a winning combination. The offie waiting area is clean and spacious. The ladies at the front desk are polite and efficient. When I saw the doctor he listened to my explanation and answered my questions. But my husband was comfortable with Dr. Sabin and his staff, so I reluctantly went JUST to make an appointment. Within a few minutes I was in the chair getting x-rays. Their staff made me feel VERY COMFORTABLE (I love Vicky!) Dr. Sabin took his time and explained everything to me. It took a long while for me to get 'numb', but they were patient. Honestly, it was no where as bad as I thought it was gonna be (I thought I was going to die, lol!) Afterwards, they gave me a prescription for painkillers that I didn't even need. Clearly they don't care. Update: Spoke to the doctor yesterday and he stated that his assistant will call me in the morning to set up an X-Ray for today. That never happened.
