It has everything you would need. Groceries, some hardware goods, toiletries, over-the-counter medicine, items housewares, snacks, item for pets, gifts, a small clothes section, even phone, cables, and chargers. you name it. It's just a downhome general store. You can tell they get a lot of business. It's a very decent sized store. It's well kept, and well organized. The people that run the place were very very friendly. They just seemed like nice down Home people. I like this store a lot. You can tell this is a Community store, because out in the front there was a local billboard with all kinds of different ads on the front of it. It was a nice little store and it's obviously a big asset to the Community.

To my knowledge the only store near the area we stayed in, which kind of cool for them. Value: Prices are higher due to being the only game in town. It isn't terrible but you can tell. I don't care as they have literally everything and I like supporting small independent businesses. Overall: This store has a really small town feeling which is endearing. They even sell store merch which is pretty cool. If you're in the area I'd definitely recommend it.

This place doesn't miss! Was in Sierra city for 48 hours and had six milkshakes. Would go back…read moreagain with the sole purpose of going to this eatery. These are the best milkshakes you will get on the Pacific Crest Trail, hands-down. They have a multitude of flavors, including fresh fruit and berries, they are the perfect consistency, and they are only $10! It's actually a steal. The chicken sandwich was juicy, burgers were delightful, and onion rings were crunchy. I literally have no feedback.

I'm glad it actually worked out that way, because this place was absolutely amazing! Such a cool little country store. Groceries, drinks, beer, snacks, some hardware, toiletries a small wine/liquor section in the back, and a great little deli. There were cute signs all over the walls. I decided to try a cup of "luau Larry's. not so famous homemade chili." The very nice and friendly lady working in the store said that "luau Larry" is her husband. Let me tell you, he makes an amazingly fine chili.... For a 'cup" of chili, it was huge! I enjoyed it very much. I found out that the chili is made with ribeye! It was delicious. It was Hearty, it had a deep rich flavor, and it had a nice little "kick" to it. Well, within what I like for spicy. The lady in the store did tell me that Larry "tweaks" the recipe a little bit from time to time, but she says it's always a great chili. I do not doubt that at all. She asked me if I wanted cheese and onions, and I said, of course! I love fresh purple onions. They are both sweeter and milder than the white or yellow onions. They really added to the chili, as did the cheese. The chili and a soda ran me about 11 bucks. A little bit high, sure, but this is a tiny town up in the middle of the mountains. I get it. Besides, for the quantity and quality, it was worth every single penny. I would come back just for another cup of that chili. Thanks.
