People should mention Stella more often when they are asked what restaurant they want to eat in for pizza. I sometimes go here for merienda and order a whole pizza and a drink or two. Their pizzas are made fresh when you order it and are cooked up in their wood-fire oven to get just the right amount of char on the dough. Their pizzas are thin, generously topped with whatever is supposed to come on top of it, and have a nice crust too. It's always nice when a restaurant doesn't scrimp on their ingredients and how much they put. I stick to the Fire Roasted Truffle Mushroom pizza which comes with generous amounts of mushrooms, truffle oil, and some ricotta, and then I drizzle some of that chili oil of theirs onto it. Pair that with maybe a glass of sangria or a gin and tonic on a hot summer day. It's a perfect merienda for me. read more
