I read the reviews on this place & even my tech & all seemed great, so I was hopeful. I really liked my nail tech, Cindy, as far as a person. She was incredibly friendly & kind, she talked to me & she spoke perfect english (not saying anything negative on anyone that doesn't, but lets be real, a language barrier can certainly cause issues when trying to explain exactly what you want or understand what they're response is). I didn't ask for anything crazy at all...I got dip w/ tips & had a solid dip color, no designs, no chrome, nothing fancy. I've had dip powder done at other places many times before & I've NEVER had anyone use the technique that Cindy used. What she did caused major thick bumps which crumbled under the drill making her have to "touch up" the dip powder multiple times & leaving the overall texture of the nails very lumpy/bumpy (even after I asked her to even them out). The dip powder looked so bad that she even had to put a layer of the matching gel polish over the dip. The top of the nail isn't blended into my cuticle at all. There was product left all over my skin once finished. She handed me a "clean" brush to use to go wash my hands w/ & I was horrified when I was using the brush & saw brown stuff running from the brush into the water indicating that the brush wasn't only dirty, but straight up nasty. Honestly, I was so horrified by how bad my nails looked & the amount of time it was taking that I lost faith in her ability to fix them & I just wanted to get out of there. I am not one to leave bad reviews typically, but this was such a huge disappointment & quite honestly, I left mad that I had just spent money for this garbage & didn't really speak up to her (b/c again, it was so bad I didn't think she'd be able to fix it anyway, & I just wanted out of there). I'm not sure if I'm more upset about the horrible job on the nails or the fact that I was given a nasty brush to wash w/. Just...NO, NO, NO!!! Horrible! I definitely will not be returning to this facility. I'm really glad others seem to have a better experience w/ this place & tech, but unfortunately, that was not the case for me.
