When it came to booking, the system releases dates for the next month on the first day of the current month and my advice would be to book ASAP. It floored me how quickly dates disappeared from the booking calendar - though that's also a pretty strong indicator of how popular/sought-after a brow appointment at Brow Beauty is! During the day of, Melissa was great with advising me on what shape/color would work best for me (she's the expert!) and definitely helped to put me at ease. The process itself was relatively painless and lasted a little over two hours. Afterwards, she was clear on how important post-care was - no exercise, stay out of direct sunlight and the ever important, don't pick at scabs! The healing process itself took about two weeks, and the best piece of advice I have for anyone going through this is to trust the staff and trust the process. Right after the appointment there was definitely some mild swelling (which I was forewarned about) and I'd read enough stories/reviews describing the post-appointment look as "Angry Birds." Thankfully, I had more of a "Mildly Concerned Birds" look during the first two days, but within the first week, the healing process started and the brows both lightened and thinned out - just as Melissa had assured me they would! I got compliments from coworkers straightaway and I was happy to tell them all about Melissa and Brow Beauty. After a month, the eyebrows settled and they look amazing - just went back for my touch-up and couldn't be more thrilled with the results. I emailed Lynda 2 times to advise her that I was not happy, and did not hear back from her. I have since spent $200 to have my brows lasered and back to square one. I got a follow up call and text from Wency to confirm my appointment, which I thought added a great personal touch. Due keep in mind, I do have a higher pain tolerance, so even though it was quite painless for me... everybody has a different body and level of pain tolerance.
