Each time I said, "understood." - I tried on a bathing suit and as I was looking at myself in the mirror and talking to my sister about the bathing suit, I was approached by one of their sale's staff and told that I needed a larger size. I could see two other employees standing in the corner of the dressing room, staring at me and rolling their eyes. I began to tell her that I didn't think I needed a different size, she cut me off and said, "no, you do." She came back a minute later with the larger size. Please note that this input was unsolicited. I never asked for their opinion or for them to grab me a different size. - My fitting room curtain was abruptly opened by the sales staff while I was undressed. I explained that I was uncomfortable with her doing that, her response, "I am used to seeing women naked." - I was stared down the entire time and when I asked a question about a bathing suit bottom, I was yelled at and the response was, "No! That one is not extra coverage!" - I showed my sister a dress and explained to her that it was too big for me, the owner, Marna Hann, looked at me and yelled, "Trust me that fits you!" and she rolled her eyes. Again, I didn't ask for her input or opinion. I wasn't even addressing her. I was talking to my sister. I felt like I was in the twilight zone. How do 4 women get away with this type of behavior? I had wanted to get my ears pierced for a while and saw on Facebook that Zaraz offered ear…read morepiercing. Located only 3 minutes away from my apartment, I decided to check it out. As I walked in I was greeted by both a sales assistant and Rebeca the owner. Both were very friendly and accommodating, and within a few minutes, I had beautiful sparkly studs in my ears. I was very pleased with how meticulous Rebeca was on making sure the holes were even, she even pulled out a little ruler to measure. The piercing was pretty painless (it was my third hole so I'm kinda a pro.) I was really happy with my experience. It's a calm environment which I think would be good for kids. You are given a cleaning lotion and instructions how to keep them clean and infection free! I am pretty sure they do cartilage piercing on the ear also. Beside the ear piercing, they have a ton of cute accessories to browse. I ended up getting a necklace that have been searching for after seeing it on a girl at the Belmont Stakes. Thanks to Rebeca and Zaraz for a great ear piercing and a cute necklace to go with my summer wardrobe! Also love to keep my business in Lynbrook. I most def recommend Zaraz for ear piercing!
