I spoke to the roofer directly, who got us a quote after the job was done. We decided to keep waiting. Then a wind storm came through a couple of months later.Shingles started to fall off our roof. The house was well over 10-years old, so there was no way around it. Our roof needed to be replaced. So we did our due diligence and gathered quotes, and decided to go with JDM. Their quote was very competitive, but the actual service they delivered was worth more than they charged. Jim (the owner) and his crew was very busy, but they fit us in because our roof really was starting to fall apart. They literally started our roof after a neighbour began their roof replacement using a competitor, and JDM finished before them. And they didn't rush the job. They started at a reasonably early hour and stayed as late as they safely could. When it was done, not only did their lead roofer inspect the job, but Jim himself came by and inspected it as well. They cleaned up everything really well. I couldn't find a single nail anywhere around our house from the old roof, which was important because we have several small dogs that we love dearly, but are so daft because they try and swallow anything and everything. JDM obviously take pride in their work, and their many 5-star reviews on Google (and now here) are well earned. Cannot recommend them highly enough! Great work, great price, great service.

I just paid over $100,000 to have a metal roof installed on my 2 barns, the job is not completed to contract and promises made so I withheld $6000 until the job was done. They have not returned, also have made zero and any attempt to rectify the current situation. I had communications with Tanya from there office including multiple calls and emails regarding my frustration. No calls back from any management to rectify the problem. Now I get a call from a very rude collection agency. This is just unreal. All I want is the job that was promised finally completed to contract and promises made by Tanya and steve their manager. This is just so unfortunate that this company doesn't complete a job and has the nerve to go this far. Super unfortunate. Highly disappointing and recommend using different company unless you want to be billed for something that's not complete and then sent to collections. One was double everyone else, and these guys and one other right in the middle. Precise was professional from the start, and that was a good sign, as a couple of the others were not. The owner Mike showed up on time, and shared my vision for the house, its an old house and needed a lot of work. His price was fair, and he worked with me to ensure I got what was needed. I don't understand roofing and he was very patient with me, and returned twice to explain things to me and give me samples etc. When it came time to get it done, that is where these guys really shine, the crew showed up 5 minutes early, and by the time they had given me, they were on the roof and working. All very well organized, they left no mess, and the roof looks amazing, I get compliments from passers by all the time. The quote from Penfolds was on the higher side of the average, but we went with them because the quote was detailed and they were realistic about the unknowns (especially the carpentry work, since most of the issues were covered up and couldn't be assessed until the roof came off). The carpentry team was very thorough, communicative, and ended up getting the work done for far less than they originally told me it would cost. The roofing team was also excellent - polite and tidy, with good attention to detail. Everything was done on or ahead of schedule, and ended up being completed for *less* than the quoted price. Absolutely a 10/10 job!
