She was supposed to be the replacement for another provider who ran HER office like a patient mill. I went in knowing I had a pulmonary issue, told Miss Kelley and her Medical Assistant I had pleurisy because ambient water pressure from my pool hurt my lungs and I was short of breath. Despite my continually showing her that the pain was at the bottom of my right lung, she insisted it was muscular. Flexeril and a month later, I felt no better, I had a CT done and it I was diagnosed by the radiologist a partially collapsed lung. She offered me flexeril again. WTF?? If I already had shortness of breath for a month and the Flexeril didn't work, now you have the CT that SAYS it was pulmonary, WHY ARE YOU GIVING ME MORE FLEXERIL TO SLOW MY BREATHING? In addition to this incident, she never sent in a prior authorization for a procedure she URGED me to have. I called my insurance company after they rejected the claim and they said it is on HER AND HER OFFICE to not just appeal the claim but to do a GRIEVANCE with the Insurance company. There is nothing I can do as a patient. There is not an APPEALS process-straight to GRIEVANCE. I drop the grievance form off and now after I call her office twice and call my insurance company calls her, I hear nothing back. It was like pulling TEETH to get the receptionist to admit that the grievance was sitting in her nurse Ashley's folder for 2 weeks with ZERO action taken after I pay $649 for something the insurance WOULD HAVE PAID and will reimburse me for if they EVER mail the thing out. She also ordered foot x-rays before I went to a podiatrist and I paid almost $200 for those. They never made it to the podiatrist's office and he preferred to xray IN HIS OFFICE and read those himself. That is with TWO podiatry visits. I don't have money to flush down the toilet. They sent me text messages to confirm the appointment. I logged into the patient portal to confirm. They sent five messages with a link for the tele-visit. We logged in. They did not. We waited an hour and forty five minutes for the useless nurse practitioner to show up--never did. The office closed at 5:00 and we did not receive even so much as an acknowledgement. They did not even have the decency to appear on screen to tell us that they couldn't make it. They just let us wait. They don't care about you. They are terrible paper pushers who only collect office visit fees. You can see from the reviews that my experience is not unique--it is a pattern. They do not care about you. My mother had a teleconference appointment scheduled. 24 hours before hand we received a call saying that the appointment has to be rescheduled because "the nurse practitioner no longer sees patients on Fridays"--the nurse practitioner now only sees patients on Tuesdays. I asked when the nurse practitioner decided to see patients only on Tuesdays, and was told that I would have to speak to the office manager. I wanted to know when this policy was put in effect and they decided to wait until the last minute to tell me the appointment was cancelled. I was put on hold and waited approximately 20 seconds before the system hung up on me. I tried calling back, and again, after around 20 seconds, the system hung up on me. I have not been able to talk to anybody else. This is a callous disregard for patients. This office can get away with it since they are one of the few neurologists in town. You will still have to see them, but they don't care about you.

My appointment with Laura Sinclair Rodriquez was canceled on the morning of the appointment, which I had waited two months for. The next available slot was a month later, which was disappointing.She couldn't work me in since it was her fault in cancelling my appointment in the first place. Despite arriving 15 minutes early as indicated in multiple emails, I encountered issues checking in due to the receptionists being occupied. When I finally checked in, I was informed that I should have arrived 30 minutes early per the instructions from Ms. Rodriquez, which contradicted the previous communications. It was frustrating to wait an additional 30 minutes, only to learn that I might not be seen that day due her ridiculous notion of wanting new patients to wait for 30 minutes, even when I completed ALL paperwork online. The nurse was the only courteous staff member I encountered, and I felt that overall, the office is poorly managed and does not prioritize patients' time. Do not waste your time and money at this office. It is understaffed and not efficient.

I had her for a while while she worked in the Quarry, but then she went to work at a base for a year or two. I found out that she was opening her new practice (this current one) and reached out to her. She welcomed me back with open arms. I was so excited and let me say that the service provided and care from her and her nurse/staff is something you will never find anywhere else. I joined her new direct primary care practice when it first opened and I stayed until the start of this year, because I had to move out of the city long term and couldn't make trips back to San Antonio. This practice by far exceeds any high-end PCP that you have seen on Tv or heard of, heck I even think the Presidents never got this great of service that Dr. Zeballos will provide you. She's detailed with you when you are sitting there one on one with her. She wants you to understand and wants to explain. She doesn't make you feel stupid and if she's superior, because of her title. I have in my memory boxes old journal sheets from her old practices of things she has DRAWN, written, and defined for me to better understand and to reference that paper if I need to remember anything. She does NOT rush at all. I have never once felt like I was rushed, I asked so many questions all the time, the ability to text her/call her is exactly that-- you will literally text her or call her and she will answer. There isn't any Ai involved and she's one human handling all these patients, but somehow it doesn't feel like that when she's talking to you specifically. Dr. Zeballos truly cares about the wellbeing of not only you, but your family. This practice I could not recommend enough. When I worked in a local location in San Antonio I would tell ALL my guests about Dr. Zeballos. I could not say one bad thing about her and her staff over the many years that I've seen her. Her staff has also followed her from practice to practice even if it wasn't her own private practice. That shows you how much she cares about her staff as well! One last thing I want to add, but I am not sure if she is still on Dr. Z's staff. However, Alma is the most reliable, knowledgeable, and caring MA/ staff Dr. Z has. At one point it was just Dr. Z and Alma, but it felt like they had a whole army behind them, because nothing got left behind. Alma also has one of the most steadiest hands when it comes to drawing blood. One (of several) time(s) she took my blood and I usually look away. I looked away this time as always and told her "tell me when you start please" and then she said "DONE" she had taken my blood so fast, painless, and a lot of it too without me even feeling it. Her hands were the only one I trust to draw my blood! If I could join her practice again I would in a heartbeat and you and your family should too! I am attaching two screenshots of text messages I had with Dr. Z. One being I fell in my tub one day and needed relief asap. She got me into her office the next morning and taped my entire body with KT tape which helped a lot. She was quick to get me in even with less than 24 hour notice. Another one being, I reached out to her about a concern of price for a medication I was taking that I had to pay out of pocket for since my insurance wouldn't cover it and GoodRx was not any cheaper. She took the time to even research the cost of my meds and find me a provider that she does not partner with to help me keep the cost of my medications low. She truly cares about YOU.
