Do not use Stephen Cooley Real Estate Group! Go with someone who is honest and trustworthy instead. This real estate group has one goal in mind- making money through high pressure sales. Yes, of course!.. It's a business.. but Stephen has no moral compass and no compassion for others. He will sell you a lemon- even though nothing major came up on the inspection report- because they use only one inspector, Carolina Home Pro Inspections, who seems to never find much wrong with the house. Coincidence? I think not. During the inspection process, our agent did not act with our interests in mind. And once we discovered over $15k of water damage after moving in, Stephen- besides not being helpful in any way- was rude, disrespectful, and threatened to lawyer up should we pursue any litigation with his company in order to mitigate our losses. This is not a reputable firm. Please ask any agent who does not work there. Stephen Cooley and his team have lost all of my trust and credibility. If I could give a 0 star rating, I would. A lot of publicity and when it really matters we got almost none help selling our house, the realtoe advises us so poorly our house worth was way over she said, she never reallytl took good care of anything the house meassurements were wrong on their side causing us a lot of trouble! And she gave us only a 14.99 wine bottle as a gift for doing business with this "great brand" WORST EXPERIENCE EVER and it was not our first experience selling or buying... Nate helped us a lot and was great to work with. I recommend him to anyone... especially younger people buying their first home. I was pleased that we were able to use the moving van provided by the company. That saved us $60-$200 in truck rental costs. The ability to sign papers virtually made our home-buying process go very smoothly, even when changes needed to be made.
