Went to Dr Ryan at the Auburn Wound Center for treatment and she said you do not need to have your leg amputated...we can treat this! The wound is healing slowly, but definitely healing. When she was done, she used a septic pencil to stop the bleeding with no apologies or compassion. Never in my life have I left a podiatrist's office with my toes bloodied, and I have had foot problems since a misdiagnosis of a broken bone in my foot about 40 years ago. One toe continued to bleed and they were so short, it is still hard to sleep or not have nightmares.

I've completed eight 100-mile running races since that initial visit - - Spending a lot of time on my feet can lead to a whole assortment of issues and Dr Condon has helped me through various injuries (a couple of bouts of plantar fasciitis, sprains, and tendinitis) and regular blister preventative care. When the PF flared up during a recent training cycle, he treated it with the shockwave therapy system and it was miraculous. I explained that I didn't have medical insurance and was willing to pay out of pocket. (Most Podiatrist in folsom weren't taking cash pay clients) within 2 hours I recieved a call back and apt for the next day. Dr. Sucheski was very kind and extremely reassuring, he talked me through the process and he numbed my foot so it was painless. He was able to locate the broken toothpick deep inside my foot and remove within a few minutes. I was EXTREMELY excited about the reasonable cost of the visit, he saved me hundreds!
