I cant say enough great things about Stephen's work. His work is timeless and when you look at his pictures, the emotions of the special day just come back. He just knows what images, scenes, and emotions to capture in a photo. I met Stephen in San Diego......years and years ago. My partner and I did an engagement session with Stephen and he went above and beyond from the booking process to receiving our photos. We were booking pretty last minute but we really wanted some good fall foliage in our photos, and Stephen was able to squeeze us in on a Friday morning and it was perfect. We booked a 1 hour session at Cider Hill Farms and ended up taking photos for an extra half hour with an outfit change and we had such a good time! Stephen was so friendly and relaxed during the shoot, and even though it is a very busy season, he was able to get us our gallery from Oct. 28 just under three weeks later. The gallery we received is absolutely stunning. The foliage and the lighting were perfect on the day of the shoot, but Stephen was really able to capture both, and colors in our photos are unbelievably beautiful & exactly what we were hoping for. The gallery is easy to use, easy to share, and easy to download from. Stephen is a ROCK STAR! My husband and I found Stephen online. His portfolio was beautiful and he offered great pricing. When we talked to him, he asked the right questions to customize his services to our budget and deliver the type of photos we wanted to capture, so we chose him to be our photographer for our engagement and wedding photos. During our engagement shoot, he made us feel super comfortable, even though we were not comfortable with PDA. My husband and I eloped in May 2020 at a beach in Gloucester, MA. I found Stephen online, he was quick to respond, had a very reasonable quote for what we needed, and was very flexible with our arrangements (the weather was a decisive factor in our beach ceremony plans). Stephen Grant is a GENIUS when it comes to photography. Every single time I've hired him (3 photo shoots so far), I cry looking at his images. This time, he photographed my sister/her family. Looking thru all the pix I was so sad I could not be there; the images were so beautiful and he captures everyone's essence so well even though he had never met my family until that morning he photographed them. Having worked with several photographers in the past, I will say that Stephen stands out as being the most genuine, artistic, professional and consistent photographer I have ever worked with. Not only that, but I also believe he sets his price fairly not like some of the exorbitant wedding photographers out there. I will vouch for this guy and wish he really does this full time because his work is amazing!! Stephen took family photos for my mom's birthday present at Wingaersheek Beach. Right from the get-go he was thoughtful (looking up sunsets & tides on our day), flexible (offering up many days that would work for his schedule & accommodating a last-minute reschedule), and prompt (always getting back to us quickly). For the day of photos, he was professional & easy going. He gave us helpful prompts to help us all feel relaxed in front of the camera. My mom had recently injured her leg, and Stephen was very accommodating, always being thoughtful to give her time to sit while he took photos of other members of the family. PERFECT!!! Almost everyone has a friend with a nice camera who takes great photos. And yes, they could probably take some lovely shots at your wedding. But Stephen's photos aren't just photos. He has an amazing eye for his shots and is a master of photo editing. Stephen is also a great person to work with, extraordinarily accommodating, and very reasonably priced.
