I sent them to a friend who had already booked her own newborn photo shoot and she said she regretted putting down a deposit with another photographer because she loved Nicole's style! We don't take a lot of photos and are pretty camera-shy, but Nicole was very helpful and gently guided us on what to do and made us feel free to try out different things. She was very gracious during our session and even went a little over time because we had to feed the baby in the middle of it. Photos came back within two weeks and we're very happy with them. We did not want to do an engagement shoot and I told Brooke this the first time we talked on the phone. She said that was fine, although I was nervous because I have read that enagagement shoots are the time you and your photographer bond and get to know each other's style, and especially for the couple to be comfortable being photographed before the wedding day. We absolutely loved that feeling. We obviously got to know who Brooke was during that first meeting but what we really loved was that she took the time to get to really know who we were. Not only as a couple but as individuals. Once Jessica and I gave Brooke the good news that we wanted her as our photographer, it wasn't a clients/photographer relationship, it was a friendship. And it has been that way ever since. We entrusted Brooke with all creativity when it came to our engagement photos. When we saw how good they came out we just knew our wedding photos were going to be phenomenal! And boy, I mean girl were they. But first let me tell you how on point not only Brooke was on the day of our wedding but also her assistant/second shooter Allison. Everywhere I turned or looked, either Brooke or Allison was there capturing every moment of our incredibly amazing and special day. When Jessica and I saw just the sneak peek of photos we were overjoyed. She was able to capture a photo of us with both of our dogs, which is now our family photo. When sat down and looked at all of our wedding photos we were blown away by how beautiful they were and how many photos they captured throughout the evening. Kate recently did a One Year Cake Smash photoshoot for our daughter. I wasn't sure how our baby…read morewould do, as she is in a "busy" phase. But, Kate made it so fun. She was kind and patient with our baby and the hour flew by! Our baby had a great time! We originally hired Kate to do our newborn photos last year (April 2020), and unbeknownst to us...or anyone, they ended up being canceled because of the pandemic. It was a really hard time for us to be in a pandemic, with a newborn, as new parents, while isolated. Missing out on our newborn photos was a small but nonetheless heartbreaking loss for me. Kate was so graceful and kind, she offered alternatives and came to shoot us (from afar) outside at our home...those photos will be forever memorable. We were booking pretty last minute but we really wanted some good fall foliage in our photos, and Stephen was able to squeeze us in on a Friday morning and it was perfect. We booked a 1 hour session at Cider Hill Farms and ended up taking photos for an extra half hour with an outfit change and we had such a good time! Stephen was so friendly and relaxed during the shoot, and even though it is a very busy season, he was able to get us our gallery from Oct. 28 just under three weeks later. The gallery we received is absolutely stunning. The foliage and the lighting were perfect on the day of the shoot, but Stephen was really able to capture both, and colors in our photos are unbelievably beautiful & exactly what we were hoping for.
