The front office/hygienists are super friendly and knowledgeable. They were patient with my 3 kids, even my middle child who has sensory processing disorder and is a challenge to deal with. Dr. Nelson is quite old, but he is still competent and he knows what he's doing. Just remember to speak up when you're talking to him. Another dentist in town told me I had a cavity and wanted to charge me a ton of money to fix it. Come to find out, it's not a cavity, it's just a sensitive tooth. Some sensitive toothpaste will do the trick. My family will go here for our dentistry needs from now on.

I max out my workplace flex spending account every year, and nearly 100% of it goes toward my daughters' care--including ongoing payments for my daughter's braces. I told them there was no way I could take on thousands of dollars in additional dental expenses for myself. Despite that, they kept pushing paperwork at me--totaling over $14,000 in treatment plans--until I finally walked out of the office in tears. Months later, I returned for a scheduled basic teeth cleaning, only to be told I still had to sign the same financial forms for over $14,000 in out-of-pocket treatments before they would even begin the cleaning. I said I'd like just the problem tooth looked at and then extracted. She said ok and quoted me a price and told me the total if I was cash paying. The exam was fine enough, the doctor obviously felt like I was inferior to him and was condescending to me. He made remarks simplifying all of my teeth issues after seeing me for 5 minutes.
