The staff here is wonderful and helpful and kind. The girl working the front desk offered me a sample of their spring honey, which is very light. I loved the floral notes and bought some of it. I also bought a regular jar of honey with a squirt bottle. I take 1 teaspoon a day instead of allergy shots so it needs to be local to Lee's Summit, or very close to be effective. Of course this high-quality product costs more than the cheap stuff at the grocery store, but it also works better, tastes better and supports a local family and their employees right here in our town. I will save pennies elsewhere.

It was by far my favorite one from that outing! The park there was really nice and pretty too by the way. Even though we weren't in the shop long, I fell in love with it instantly, and made me feel nostalgia for some shops that aren't open anymore. Their little tea wall filled my heart with joy. Teavana was a company my loved ones and I proudly went to for years before it was bought-out and absorbed by the Starbucks company over 10 years ago. So there were qualities about this little shop that reminded me of Teavana. I already want to return to Messner Bee Farm in the near-future to begin trying some of their products and teas! Especially their teas!

What a great find, because salt is an essential and can be the star of a meal when used properly. Service was first-rate. I was waited on by three different people in the space of about 10 minutes and each had their own expertise to offer, seemed, and appeared to really know their business. So in short, if you're looking for all kinds of spices, teas, herbs, oils and other things I probably missed that you'd expect, they likely have it, and I'm keen to explore more of their offerings in the future.
