My ham sandwich, fries and drink came out in short order. I have to say the ham was moist and for a regular sandwich could have been a Large. Fries were perfection. Two BBQ sauces; Regular and Hot, just goes well with SneadS style of BBQ. Walked in and memories came flooding back and left full plus 1 pound each of their excellent beef and ham brownies. The biggest surprise was that the burnt mac & cheese was actually one of the better items we ordered, and the burnt ends fries were good as well. Those two dishes were definitely the standouts of the meal. I really wanted to love Gates because of its reputation and because I had been looking forward to trying it for more than a decade.
