I gave Ms Armand a call and everything was just as we left off. Obviously as the years passed the daycare has only gotten better. When your child is enrolled here you honestly don't have to worry about anything. Your child is in a loving safe environment. Ms Armand makes learning fun in every way. Your child will be able to read, write, recognize site words and count before they even hit kindergarten. Your child will learn potty training and develop independence, learn social skills and so much more.

It's hard to even get a director to look your way to greet you, but they sure are willing to talk about payments due! That is literally the only time they fake nice. This one director (or assistant), Jessica, is always loudly gossiping at the end of the day. Unprofessional as parents are walking by. Some other director Briana was also extremely condescending and rude on the phone. The place just has a chaotic and heavy energy. Avoid.

They run this like a school, keep the kids busy and have a really great structure to prepare them for school. We had enrolled with Kiddie Academy before they were even open for business; one of the directors liked to joke that my son was their first kid. It was a brand new facility that was within the neighborhood so we were excited to attend. KA fully opened in September 2017, and although there were some growing pains, it was a well-run daycare that was very responsive to parent feedback. My son had just turned 1 when he first attended KA. We've had amazing teachers - Theresa, Yolanda, Sam, Brandi, Katherine, to name a few. Some of them no longer work there for one reason or another. Turnover is VERY high here. I always thought it was peculiar when seeing their ads for teachers and assistant teachers that their requirements for early education were so low, but since we've always had great teachers up until this year, I never questioned it. I don't want to go into our personal history with this place, and all the detailed ridiculousness that went on in the past few months, but I do want to note that if your child tests boundaries or doesn't do well with passive teachers, this is not the place for you. Earlier this year my son went through a phase of rebellion and testing boundaries, and spiraled out of control because the teacher he had was too passive and a pushover. I would get a call everyday from the newly minted and extremely real-world-inexperienced director, telling me "I don't know what to do." You are a daycare facility, your job is to KNOW WHAT TO DO. Your job is to give your teachers, and yourself, the tools to learn classroom management for young children. There was none of this. One of the other directors even asked me to talk to my pediatrician and to see a therapist. A THERAPIST FOR A THREE YEAR OLD!!!! AND WE ACTUALLY WENT!!! Against my better judgement as his mom, we went, because we thought there might be some anger issues he had to work out. But there were none. He was acting like a normal 3 year old, testing his boundaries, to see how far he could push. The therapist even suggested possible abuse or bullying from other classmates/teachers, but we got none of that out of him. Finally, as a last resort and after almost a whole month of this behavior, they switched him to a different classroom with a more stern teacher. He did well and the calls stopped. After a few weeks, COVID shutdown occurred but did not shut KA down. There was a huge decrease in the number of teachers and kids in the classrooms. Throughout March, April, May, June, July.... We attended. We supported them. In August, as more kids and teachers returned, there were yet again changes to my son's classroom environment which resulted in his bad behavior resurfacing and at this time, I was fed up with the young, inexperienced director. I couldn't stand her almost daily calls asking me to pick him up because she "didn't know what to do anymore." I was ready to move my son out of this facility. After a week of her calling me to complain about his bad behavior I gave her a piece of my mind. We have been enrolled in a structured, Catholic pre-k program since school started and he is thriving and flourishing. The teacher has 30+ years of experience. I wish I could turn back time and take him out back in January when this all started. When kids behave poorly, it is the environment and the adults around him that need to change. I hated having to write this review in this manner as I have always been supportive of this facility even when other neighborhood moms complained about them. I was always on KA's side; I understand how small businesses worked and how much money, blood, sweat they must have poured into this business. But I can no longer do that with a clear conscience after my personal experiences and I can no longer recommend them as I have for the past couple of years.

The director Christina should win an Oscar for her acting skills. She will promise you the world and pretend that she cares about your child. We wanted a daycare closer to home so we decided to switch our child over to Tutor Time. Once your child is enrolled, you actually see the horrific practices of this establishment. There is absolutely​ no structure. Children do whatever they want. There is always a different adult in the room. Additionally, they are not compliant with the state laws, which requires 1 teacher for every 5 toddlers. My child was often in a room with 7 other children and 1 unfamiliar face. As previous reviews mentioned, this is a puppy mill that only wants your money. During an 8 hour day, my child's diaper was only changed twice. State law requires that diapers be changed every 2 hours. One of the many teachers​ we saw often spoke down to the children, "you guys are three and you don't know how to place your hands on the wall?" We often walked past the infant room in the afternoon and saw babies crying hysterically because no one was paying attention to them. One day, another baby was biting the edge of a bookshelf as she was teething. No one stopped her from biting the bookshelf and its varnish coating. My maternal instinct knew something was wrong but I just needed my little one to last a few weeks until June. I asked my brother to pick up my little one from Tutor Time because I was going to be at work past my regular schedule. My brother and his girlfriend went in before my usual pick up time and upon walking to the classroom they saw the teacher, Janet, DRAGGING MY CHILD BY ONE ARM ACROSS 5 FEET OF CARPET. THIS DISGUSTING HUMAN BEING ATTEMPTED TO PICK UP MY CHILD BY ONE ARM AND DROPPED HIM. My brother immediately​ told the director, who did not remove Janet from the classroom for another two hours. Christina, the director, was suddenly worried about ratio issues. Compliance is never a concern for them but that day it was. Furthermore, Christina forced herself to cry, in an attempt to show empathy. We were promised the video evidence within 48 hours. We are way past the 48-hour deadline and still waiting for answers. Run far away from this place. I would never want this to happen to any other child.

Terrible daycare. Great hours. One doesn't make up for the other…read more My daughter was bullied. And they said, "kids are mean sometimes". My son was neglected. Apparently he was allowed to roam freely, and not made to participate in activities. They're in 2 different age groups. The kids are basically shoved into a classroom and may go outside for 20 minutes a day (unless outside time is canceled due to cold weather, or hot weather, or weather in general). DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN THERE. They are, like others have stated, the puppy mill of daycares.
