Then I went in today and they tried charging me $150. When I mentioned I've been told $80 they knocked it from $150 to $100. They tried gaslighting me saying they never said that price but when I tried leaving they knocked down the price. They also said it was going to take 2-3 hours but over the phone said 45 minutes to an hour which isn't a big deal, but weird. Other than that they did a good job and took about an hour to fix. I had bought a bass package online that consisted of subs amp and wiring kit but was looking to for a legit place to install them. After calling here and speaking to Moe I figured I'd give them a shot. After going in and talking to him he explained to me that there were two ways to go about doing the install. The right way and the Mickey Mouse way. The right way was gonna be a bit more expensive but he assured me that my stock stereo with Bluetooth, backup camera would all not be affected doing it the right way. Needless to say I took his advice and am beyond happy with my system. Good people that are straight up and will explain things to you so you know what you're getting and what to expect. I have been to other shops where they would just kidda judge you as you walk in and ask question about stereo equipment just to be brushed off as if your not their to spend money and waste their time. Talk to Moe he will take care of you. Been going here for over a decade and have brought multiple cars. So when my dad bought his used corvette (that had a sound system installed by previous owner) i took a look at the wiring that looked like a rats nest i had him bring it here to get it cleaned up and make sure it was installed correctly. After Moe took a look at it said if we want the most from the amp and speakers we should upgrade the power and ground wires. We are glad we took his advice, after taking his advice and changing the power and ground wires to the amp we decided on upgrading to a more modern head unit. After the install and cleaning up of the wires from previous install the car sounds better than before and we have the peace of mind knowing the wires are correctly placed. read more

I understand car audio installation, and the only reason I brought my car into these guys is because I didn't want to install my stereo equipment into my brand new car. Big mistake. After the install was done ($300), I went back and checked all of the connections and looked at how they did everything, and I can tell you that they did a horrible job. They spliced speaker wires and totally removed factory wiring harnesses so the wiring they did was absolutely trash. They also shoved the RCA wires and crossovers for my component speakers in places that made it look very unprofessional. If you care about how things are done, and not just the final aesthetic appearance, don't go to these guys. read more

Listen, if you don't know anything about car Stereos or don't care about price you might have a decent experience. The shop is clean has nice displays and the two times I went there, the salesman was kind and answered my questions. He offered (to him) competitive pricing and "free installation". I went to this location to buy speakers and possibly a new radio. My car came from the factory with a kicker system so I wanted to stick with that. Kickers top of the line components are the QS line. They also have a nice display showcasing these speakers. I was quoted over twice the MSRP for them as well as for the Kicker Amp. 2000.00 for what should be about 800. I knew I could get them cheaper online so I let it go. I planned on buying a Pioneer AVH-7800BT radio and they had them there. They wanted 699.00 w/ "free installation". Amazon has them right now for 344.99 with prime free shipping. You can take that to Car Audio Pros and they will install for not that much. There is nothing wrong with making a few bucks profit, but I would recommend going to Car Audio Pro's where you will get a fair price and excellent customer service. read more

I believe you to the owner but he was the rudest, most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. I called around and this place was the only one who could install my system that same day. So I'm walking in and as I am walking in I'm putting my mask on and he yells at me and says stop, do not come in here until your mask is all the way on. Then I said okay you don't have to yell and be so aggressive. He responded it's the rule and I can't afford to get shut down. I was thinking you can't afford to be rude either and loose customers. I tried explaining something to installer about equipment I brought in and owner interrupted me and said he knows What he is doing and he isn't gonna do it that way and then he told the installer just do it this way, which wasn't how I wanted it. I secretly told installer please do it how I want it. Then owner had me pay the full $300 for install before work was done which I didn't like doing. Owner said I can't stay there and wait so I took Uber home. He called me at 5:28 and said your car is ready and I told him I would order Uber and come get it. I ordered Uber which took a while to come get me and when I was five min away at 6:02 owner called me again and said if your not here by 6:30 you will have to come get car tomorrow. I told him I was five min away but i didn't get why he would say be here by 6:30 or you won't be able to get your car because they close at 7:00. I got there and installler installed it the way i wanted And did a good job. This is the only reason they get 2 stars.. A frien of mine droped off his suv for a dvd instalation. When he returned to pick up his vehicle he noticed a crack on the winshield. He then returned to complain with the manager. The manager then denied all alegations and also refused to show the security video to prove they infact did not break the winshield. My friend told the manager If you are so sure show me the video. THE GUY MOE IS A BULLY. He tells me that my dash kit is $400.00, I found the exact same one on Amazon for $199.00. When I was at his store. He didn't show me a couple of different decks. No!! He instantly went for the most expensive deck he had. As we are talking he mentions the amount I was looking to pay. $1000.00. I said UMMMM.... Idk. So he says he's gonna hook me up and he will pay for the speakers to be put in my car. He then goes into a rant about how hes helping me out and giving me the best price. He then asked me for my card. Like a dumb ass I give it to him. That's when he tell me the total. $1,400.00. He then shows me the speakers. They were two small door speakers. I tell him thats alot of $$ for a car stereo. So he starts adding things up on a calculator so that I can see. Him: Dash kit $400.00, labor (mumbles) deck ( mubles under his breath so I couldn't hear). Then he says speakers. I said speakers. He said I would pay for a pair of speakers. He would pay for the other pair. Thats not what he said. So the total comes out to $1,500.00. He then says I'm not even charging you for labor. Yes he did. So he says ok you can just pay half today. Before I can answer he says ok. $1,000.00. Muthafucker what. By that time I just wanted to leave. I felt literally bullied. So I leave. Call my husband. My husband said HELL NO. So I call him and tell him to cancel my order. And he tell me NO. That he already ordered my dash kit so I had to get the shit we "agreed upon". He literally said I could back out of the deal. That my husband was just gonna have except the fact and if he didn't like it. Oh well. I said what? He then goes on telling me what I was going to do. Not what I wanted to do. He then says I'll put the back up camera your decks comes with for free. Ok thats a good deal. Ok I'll see you on Monday and hangs up. I sat in my car and cried. Long story short. I didn't go back to his store. My bank got my money back. I bought every thing I was looking for in a car stereo, Touch screen 7in deck $54.00, 2 big speakers and two door speakers, dash kit $199.00, speaker wire, $5.00, AND a car alarm on Amazon for under $400.00. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Owner has no care or respect for customer service! Came in to get some door speakers installed, I wanted all Pioneer speakers front and back doors. Guy said they didn't have my size for pioneer front speakers, fine. Gives me some random brand for the front speakers and only dropped my final price by $20, which in the moment I didn't care oh well. Made appointment for next day and said to bring it in the morning and they'll call when it's done. Didn't get finished till they closed at 7, again, fine. Came in to pick up my car and asked where my original Toyota speakers were and the guy that installed them didn't know and gave me some random speakers on the floor thinking they were my Toyota speakers (which I came home to find out they were just old Chrysler speakers). I was satisfied with my installation and speakers were fine till not even TWO MONTHS passed and both rear speakers started rattling and cracking. Called and they said to come in today, came in and they tried to cut me a deal for all 4 speakers brand new for $200. I said I didn't want to pay anything I just wanted it fixed then he said "okay I'll work with you, $150" I said again no I don't want to pay anything just want it fixed. He said "that's the best I can do or I'm losing money" after lots of back and forth dispute I said "then we have no deal" and left. Yesterday I went to this place. I told them my radio would not turn on at all. I said it was working fine the day before but will not turn on today. I told them I bought it from here about 4 years ago. I asked them if they would be able to diagnose it and how much they'd charge to do so. The guy I was talking to said because I bought from them there would be no charge. But I'd be responsible for the repairs if needed I said ok. I left to take my family home but returned an hour later. While my car was in their shop another employee comes out and says he can clean my headlights. He said I can pay after he cleans them. He said if I do it now it would only be $25 when its normally $30. I said no thank you. He then said ok do it now and it's only $20 its normally $30. I said no thank you. My car comes up front after being in the shop for 5 min. The original guy says ok we got your radio working. Jokingly I said was it the fuse and he said yes and it's $25. I told him I was just here an hour ago and you said there would be no charge to diagnose it. He said no no there was miscommunication. Then he started to say if I didn't want to pay for it. I said no I'll pay for it, but that's not what you told me. He said save the receipt and the $25 would go to the next purchase (what next purchase). I told him if he would have told me there would have been a charge I would have checked my own fuses. So basically I paid $25 for a .50 fuse. Also this place still doesn't have prices on their products. If you purchase from them be sure to ask questions for clarity and shop around. You've been warned!!!!!!! read more

I went to Stereo Center on 07-01-2013 at approximately 1700 hours to purchase a radio for my old pick up truck. It is a Brazilian salesman and appeared to be a Muslim owned shop. I found the people pleasant. I just wanted a fair deal on a car stereo, nothing fancy just a stereo and a couple of speakers. A Pioneer DEH-4500BT was the recommended stereo head and a couple of Rockford Fosgate Punch P1692 6x9 spkrs. I took them at their word for the "Free" installation and a decent price. When I got home I noticed that there was not any listed price on my receipt for the components, just one total price of $420.00. I thought this was rater odd so in an effort to see how much each item cost me I went to the web and OMG, the Pioneer cost $96.00 on Amazon and almost anywhere else, and the speakers were a whopping $60.00, for a grand total of $167.00 in components. This is $253.00 LESS than the $420.00 I was charged. Tomorrow we talk about what was a reasonable labor charge and then they can have their equipment back. Today is 07-02-2013. I went over to Stereo Center today after work and asked to speak with yesterdays salesman. I told him that I liked him but I did not like the excess charge for my equipment. I eventually pitched my complaint to who I presume is the owner. He said he could not compete with an internet site and his mark up on the unit was $29.00. The speakers were a push and the wiring harness was $45.00. Minus the tax and I was charged $45.00 for labor. I told him that the installation labor was supposed to be for free, and he confirmed it with the salesman and offered to return my overcharge. Then he offered me a new set of rear speakers to cover the charge and I accepted. I was watching when the rear speakers were being installed and they were some brand I never heard of and certainly were not the Rockford Fosgates like in the front. I told him to reinstall my stock speakers back in the rear and give me my money. He capitulated and installed the matching Rockford Fosgate speakers in the rear and it was done. I am okay with this, but remember not everybody eyeballs the process like myself. read more
