The selection in the store is really good compared with the numerous similar stores I browsed recently in search of proper lamps. Prices for some items are a little bit obnoxious, the products I picked were on discount and I chose to absorb the cost, and upgrade from the practical cheap, but falling apart Ikea lamps. The store was overcrowded during boxing week and service was slow. Shop your lights in the evening if you can get there before 6pm at the beginning of the week. You also may wish to check the description of the product online while in the store as some questions I asked were not answered accurately and some others I even didn't think of asking. One of the items I bought was not available and the personnel didn't necessarily follow on the committed delivery date. Anyway I called multiple times and finally got my luminous beauty. I can't say the service in the store was amazing, but in the end is beyond the three stars. Multi-Luminaire Pointe-Clare is far away from where a live, but I would return there because of the extensive choice.

They quoted me $55,184.55 just to rewire the apartment - here's a sample of their pricing: * $5,306 for 14 light fixtures with no access (that's $379 each!) * $7,406 for 15A circuits (14 of them!) * $8,554 for 26 regular power outlets (that's $329 each!) * $1,974 for 6 switches (!) * $4,068 just to run thermostat wires * And another $5,172 on overpriced baseboard heater replacements Then they added another $13,469.32 just to upgrade the service and breaker box: * $4,719 for a 200A panel and breakers * $2,940 for 60ft of PVC pipe (seriously?) * $909 just to ground to the water pipe That's over $68,000 before a single wire is touched. For reference, that's more than my car and nearly half what I paid for the building. To make matters worse, they charged me $500 just for the visit - and then refused to proceed without full basement access, even though I clearly asked for isolation of the upstairs unit. Bottom line: I felt like I was dealing with a company that either didn't understand my request or saw a golden goose. If you value your money, get a second (or third) opinion. These prices are not just high - they're completely disconnected from reality.
