The reason Steve has nothing but five star reviews is that he never provides anything less than five star service. He's not going to hurry you to sell, he's not going to hurry you to buy. My folks and I have bought 4 houses with Steve's help and he's always thorough in his approach. He won't let you get emotionally invested in a property without pointing out to you in detail what his concerns are about roofing, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, flooring, etc. I've looked at houses with other realtors and you can just tell that what they really want is for you to buy the damn house... you can almost feel their frustration if you don't like the first 6 houses they show you. You get the sense that they are only giving you reasons to buy the house when you KNOW there should be some reasons why you should NOT buy that house. Steve will tell you those reasons. The bottom line is that you need to trust your realtor. There are dozens of ways that a realtor can steer your decisions and, as with a lawyer or financial advisor, your lack knowledge and experience in the field will usually leave you a little in the dark and likely to make uneducated decisions. You really need the guidance of your realtor at just the moment your realtor might have their own agenda... and I never worried about that with Steve. He enjoys what he does and it makes it fun to drive around looking at houses. OK, that would be fun even without Steve... but he makes it more fun. And he brings snacks. read more

STEVE!! My partner and I set out on our first home buying experience by visiting several open houses where we met multiple realtors. None felt like quite the right fit for us until we walked into one of Steve's open houses. We told him we knew little about the process and he spent almost an hour patiently answering our home buying questions. You could just tell he really loves his job and cares about helping people find the right home. He showed us a wide range of homes to help us figure out exactly what we were looking for. He was never once pushy and allowed us to make up our own opinions of the properties while sharing his wealth of knowledge he has accumulated over the past 30+ years in the business. Steve has great knowledge of the local area (The Valley), neighborhoods and developments. Anyone can walk you through a house and say "Wow, look at this beautiful kitchen!!"
