But the office manager of Pulmonary Consultants is horrible. The office doesn't do their jobs and the manager doesn't care. Last year, my husband came for an appointment but the nurse could not download his info from his machine. We had to do the visit without the info. They had me call to give the numbers from the unit and said they would resolve it. Today, a year later, new nurse says no one ever bothered to do anything and doctor still has no info. So we left while they were now trying to fix it, no idea if they will get it done this time, either but at least the nurse cared. But worse- On March 14th, we were told by our vet that our beloved pet of 16 years would need to be put down. We asked for the weekend to say goodbye and I made a phone call to try to reschedule my husband's appointment with Dr. Daley for that Monday. My husband would have been in no condition to see him after the vet visit, even if we could make it cross town to it. Couldn't get anyone to answer the phone to reschedule (which is typical there, the phones ring and no one makes any effort to answer them, even if they aren't doing anything). Monday morning I called before the vet visit and I called after, leaving messages. No one returned my calls. I called again Wednesday, no one returned my call. Finally on Thursday, they called and said "you wanted to reschedule" so I did. No mention that they didn't get my messages. I get a bill in the mail for $50 for a No-show appointment. Not one mention of it during the phone call. So I called and left a message to call me about it. No one returned my call. Finally, at the rescheduled visit, I ask about the charge. They tell me their "perfect system" records every call by name and they could not find my call from Friday, but they found my other calls. Ok, so if you have all my messages asking for you to return my call, why didn't anyone call me? They say "I don't know". And then I find their "perfect system" that didn't show a call on Friday despite me showing it on my phone was down for two days! Here's the deal- if you are going to hold people responsible for missed appointments - ANSWER YOUR DARN PHONES!! RETURN PHONE CALLS WITHIN 24 Hrs. PRETEND YOU CARE! We are long term clients that have had many appointments with no problem. Missed a Monday afternoon appointment after calling Friday and Monday but the office manager couldn't care less. Heartless office staff. So my advice is, see the doctor, but don't be surprised when the office treats you like an inconvenience and doesn't do their job.

Quest says that because the bill originated from Specialists in Urology, they would have to be the ones to correct the issue. I have spoken to several people at SIU and have many times been told that this would be taken care of. I have also been promised that I would receive a letter stating the error so I could send to the credit companies in an effort to correct this black-eye on my credit. After many promises, nothing ever gets corrected! Why should it be so difficult to fix such a mistake? If this simple mistake is unable to be fixed, I would not recommend using this company in the fear of a more serious problem that could occur and not be corrected.
