When you are treated like that with staff, you can rest assured the whole office is probably handled the same way.

They had equipment there to do x-rays and ultrasound for diagnosis. Dr. Kuchár was knowledgeable, personable and explained things well. The other staff was friendly and efficient. My grandmother was also seen there for ingrown toenails. She has advanced Alzheimer's and her visits also have gone very well. They have orthotics and specialty shoes but do not try to sell you everything, which is greatly appreciated. Grandma and I will have follow-up appointments with them, so we must be very pleased with their services.

When I first saw this doctor, he left me in the same temporary splint the ER had put on. During the appointment, he wrapped my foot so poorly that it caused additional bruising and pain. At my follow-up, he refused to see me because I hadn't had an MRI yet, and simply put me in a walking boot, saying that was "good enough." He never once reviewed or explained the X-rays with me. When I went to see a different doctor in Tucson, they were shocked that I was in a boot instead of a proper cast. That doctor confirmed that my bones hadn't shifted, making it clear that an MRI was never necessary in the first place. This office delayed my care, cost me unnecessary money, and made my recovery much more difficult. It took seven weeks before I was finally able to get the surgery I needed--something multiple doctors, nurses, and my physical therapist said was an unusually long and concerning delay. It wasn't until three and a half months after the injury that I could even begin physical therapy. If you care about your recovery and receiving quality medical attention, go anywhere else. This office settles for "good enough," and that should never be acceptable when it comes to your health.

The second appointment he gave me a detailed evaluation. My pain is now gone, but Dr. Hollander is on my list to visit again if I have any more foot issues.

We are winter travelers and I researched on the net for a podiatrist and happened to find Dr. Shaprio. He was a jackpot find and I highly reccomend him and his office.
