Our family has been going to Staggs Chiropractic for several years. My most recent experience is dealing with the side effects of a motorcycle accident. After suffering some back pain as a result of the accident. I opted to give Staggs Chiropractic a call to see if they could help me out. After a couple of sessions I started to feel better and was having less pain throughout the day and throughout the week. After a few months I was feeling much better. This could evolve into a five star review after a couple more visits, but four stars not bad after one visit right? The Hubs and I were in a bad wreck -- rear ended, then pushed hard into the vehicle in front of us. We had a lot of friends/family tell us to be safe and go have a chiropractic examination to rule out any unseen/unknown skeletal damage. We did. After years of friends raving about Staggs, and the fact it is close and convenient when you are a Vail resident, I called to make appointments for us. They squeezed us right in at the end of the day, which made it nice to not feel rushed. We were both virgins to the world of chiropractic medicine! From the moment we walked in the door, to the moment we left - we felt well taken care of. You almost kind of feel like you have known them forever. We got 'adjusted' and were provided with some really great informative information, along with a follow up appointment. I gotta tell you, as someone who never had any back/neck/body pain in the past -- after Dr. Stagg did his magic, I actually feel the difference... almost more relaxed (not as tightly wound up?). I woke up super sore and not able to move my neck on Sunday morning. I showed up at the office, as a new client, Monday morning, asking if they could take a new patient that morning. While she was not able to get me in first thing--she got me in that evening after I got off work. To save even more time, she gave me the paperwork to fill out so I could just turn them in upon arriving for my appointment. The waiting room is super small! This place is always busy, so can make seating a challenge. The Chiropractor--Dr. Staggs, was very friendly -yet- professional. He made sure he took the time to get to know me a bit, which made me feel like I mattered. I love the fact that he is super close to home too. And the evening hours are ideal! Been to many different chiropractors over the last couple decades and in different states, ranging from fantastic to not great. I tried several visits to Staggs Chiro, but the spine/hip issues I went there for weren't getting any better. On the plus side, a neck issue that came up in the same time was addressed. Unfortunately, I discovered months later from my insurance company that in the first visit, I was recorded as having a condition known to be difficult to diagnose due to so many other conditions having to be ruled out first. I have since been to another doctor who has not found reason to believe I have that condition at this time. Ultimately, this wasn't the best practice for me. read more

I don't know what the first reviewer's experience was, but I have been going to Dr. Staggs for about 4 years now. I think it's pretty obvious that I wouldn't keep going back if he didn't help me! His staff are friendly, and he will take me as a walk-in when my schedule is crazy and I'm not sure exactly what time I can make it in. The longest I've ever waited to be seen was about 20 minutes. Usually he's ready for me in 5 or less...even when I walk in with no appointment. I do not have insurance, and his prices are still reasonable enough that I can go in regularly without a problem. He even came out, with a toolbox, and helped me tighten a loose battery terminal on my old vehicle when I got stuck outside his office one day, and made sure the car started and I was safely on my way home before going back inside. I've never had a single bad experience with Dr. Staggs - and I can't say that about many health professionals I've encountered over the years. read more

Let me explain something here... As far as I am concerned this man is a miracle worker. I had back pain get so horrible that I would lay in bed crying just wanting to sleep and even laying down I was getting NO relief in my mid/upper back. I saw my spine surgeon along with many other docs that just couldn't seem to find what may be causing the amount of pain I was dealing with, and I have a high tolerance for pain. I had 3 visits... no more no less to Staggs and have not had pain since, not even a little bit. I did get pretty sore after my second visit and started feeling very discouraged, but now, I am pain free and I owe it all to him! Thank you thank you thank you! read more

I feel so much better after my 1st chiro appointment! I was in a lot of pain and they were able to get me in the next day. Dr. Staggs asked lots of questions and really understood where I was hurting and adjusted those areas. It didn't feel like a pop pop "routine" like a lot of other chiros I've gone to. I went to Dr. Stags when he practiced on Speedway Blvd. He was one of the best chiropractors I have seen. He is not only gentle and caring With his patients, but he also goes the extra mile to help the Tucson Community with food drives, toy drives, etc. I read one negative review, and it prompted me to write this review because it was so far off base. I have been to several different chiropractors across the country and find Staggs Chiropractic to be equally effective as the others. He uses a pneumatically driven hammer to first test each disc and then make minor adjustments. I was a bit skeptical after my first visit, but did find it relieved the pain without any nauseating cracking. I do not buy Kris D.'s assessment. read more
