What could improve?? A few things!! For one...a call back. I left two messages yesterday, Thursday and two today, Friday. No one called me back.. I've been working two weeks to get my prescription refilled. This coming Monday will make 3 weeks. When I called two Mondays ago. The staff told me that they didn't do in-house compounding anymore because of insurance. I gave them a name of a compounding pharmacy that I've used in the past. This took a couple days. When the staff called my prescription in, it was a different form of pill then when it was compounded in the office. was getting the dissolve in your mouth thyroid pill. The office called in a capsule. I wanted to stay with what I had been on for the last two months. When the pharmacy finally got the OK from the doctor to do the dissolve in your mouth pill, the pharmacy told me two days ago, it would be the end of next week before I got my medicine. I ran out of medicine two days ago. I decided to check with a local compounding company I've used in the past. I called them Thursday of this week. They told me if the prescription came in yesterday. They could have my medicine to me by Tuesday. Problem is the office called in a prescription from my old doctor, not my present doctor. This Dr has never prescribed this dosage for me. So I've made a bunch of calls and no one has called me back and they haven't called the right dosage into the pharmacy. So, I don't know when I'm going to get my medicine. Pretty sad. read more

I'm so pleased with the care I'm receiving from Dr. McConnell and staff. I'm doing HRT and Thyroid improvement and I'm seeing beneficial results. More recently I've done the Meyers IV Therapy to help with a bronchial allergy issue and it seems to be helping with my symptoms. The Perri J. review of this office is spot on. I never got to the point of seeing the doctor. I went to the office personally to schedule an appointment. Jessica was adamant about out-of-pocket costs (first $350, then, $257, and then $150), her figures were all over the place. We spent hours trying to figure out payment ahead of time. This is a money based office. Jessica was not only unknowledgeable about Medicare, she is lazy. My coverage is Medicare part A & B, I also have Part F which I don't think is still available, and that I still fund every month. In contacting my part F provider, I was told that I am covered completely for out-of-pocket expenses and any type of co-pay circumstances, and to have Jessica to call. Something she decided not to do and must be directed by the owners. I filled out 10 forms online. Understand this doctor's charges are over the top. This office is primarily based on greed. I visited Nature Cure today on a lot of pain due to a sciatica condition. My therapist, Leanna William's was amazing. I told her I needed to be able to sit in coach for a flight that evening. Here is my experience: I called and made an appointment to see Bryan McConnell, DO PLC (what do those initials stand for??), I was told that there would be a $150 out of pocket cost for the consultation-not billed to any insurance. I agreed and made the appointment. I was treated well by the support staff. I saw McConnell for approximately one hour and during that time we spoke a lot of my medical history and of a hereditary condition that he was not familiar - most doctors are not. I didn't expect him to be familiar, that was ok. Where this turned for me, was when he was completely dismissive of the medications that were given to my children, especially my son, to help him walk. This was reprehensible and very hurtful. In an hour appointment he felt he knew more than I did. He also wanted me to do blood work - ok with that. But he also wanted me to take 'a bunch' of hormones. I am of the age, that I am on the backside of menopause and do not want nor need them. I told him how I felt about hormone medications (I have never taken them) that I have read a lot of the side affects, namely breast cancer and that I wasn't interested in taking any. "Well, you can't believe everything you read". I left the appointment feeling that this was not a good fit for me. The "kicker": 'that will be $360'. WHAT? It is supposed to be $150. Well you have a deductible. What do you do? I hand over my credit card. Well, that just didn't sit right with me, so I called a few days later to speak with someone (his wife, it turns out) and she just went around and around in her explaining and basically I got nowhere. Although, she did notice that I was charged a $20 co-pay and would send me a check refund. And "thank you for pointing that out to me, we have new staff here". It still didn't sit right with me, I contacted my credit card company. They looked into it and there was nothing they could do as I was charged the correct amount on my card. Well, it still didn't sit right with me. An opportunity came up for me to speak with my insurance company and "Ashley " told me my deductible had not been used on the date of my appointment. She said she would call the Clinic to speak with them regarding the up charge. After 24 hours, Ashley left me a voice mail to tell me that I would be getting a check refund from them - $165.00!!!!! Saw Dr Sherman. He did a great job of assessing my problem areas and adjusting my neck and lower back. He was personable and knowledgeable. He used a variety of techniques. I definetly felt so much better when I left the clinic. He is a new addition to the clinic but has 40 years of experience. read more

My visit today was very positive and enjoyable. Everyone in Dr. McConnell's office is friendly and professional. They went out of their way to extend hospitality, and important information. I feel lucky to have such a health resource right in my neighborhood. read more
