The doctor I saw was Dr. Brent Jones and he was wonderful, thank goodness it wasn't anything serious and he did encourage me to call back if my symptoms got worse. I would certainly recommend this place based on my experience.

The second I walked into Memphis Optical, I knew I had an eye doctor for the rest of my college life. The staff were all really friendly, and the doctor had a good working knowledge of everything, and even told me some things that other eye doctors had neglected to mention in the past. The only thing I'm a little uncertain about it the price. The service was great, but after I got my new glasses and some contacts, it did seem a little over what I was used to paying. No biggy, though. I'd rather pay a little more and have my eyes looked after, than pay less and risk getting someone who doesn't know as much.

Dr. Walley is a personable and caring doctor that recommends what he feels is best for you as an individual, which is refreshing. He is a teaching doctor so ask questions and absorb. If you want a doctor that has a real method that you can learn from and gain something new from then take into consideration some change. I was really impressed with how at ease he makes things. He is not overpriced but he is not going to be your Walmart pricing so don't expect the same pricing because your paying for quality here. He cares and makes things very simple. The eyeglass selection is great with many designer frames. They also take insurance. The chain vision centers often do not take insurance and Cordova Vision Center offers a great selection. The patient rooms were surrounding the waiting area and people calling your name and you have no idea where they are. That is such a poor design. Staff was meh. The doc salar rafieetary knows what he was doing for sure. He was fast and efficient with nicu babies. But expected more of him since we waiting so long. Idk it was kind of a mixed experience for me.
