If you've chosen not to receive a rather new sh0t, I would absolutely not recommend this clinic. I am not one for negative reviews and it appears mine will be one of few, as I've read a lot of the positive reviews, but I feel it's very important as it was the positive review that lead me to this doctor's office. I was new to the area and there were so many good reviews and I could actually get a timely appointment, so I decided this office was my new primary. The first visit was fine and I liked them enough. I was just there for a physical. Fast forward 8 months and I've found myself with some symptoms of a cold. I don't feel bad, but I though it was best to be seen before going back into my office or anything got worse. They were able to get me in and the sweet front desk gal was SO very nice to me. She was the highlight of my appointment. After that, the nurse came in and treated me as though I'd completely inconvenienced her for getting sick. As if I didn't feel bad enough for not being able to come into my office for work and crowding an already busy healthcare system (despite the fact that I didn't see another soul there, I know in general our healthcare workers are very tired) and then finally, being sick... she even took it as far as rolling her eyes at me for clarifying my symptoms when she misspoke. I am not a rude person and am very mild mannered to strangers, so I chalked it up to she was just having a bad day. Enter Jessie Krueger with my results that I was sick. Again, I am now feeling very puny, not due to my sickness, but with how I've been treated to this point, she rips into me, grilling me as to why I've made the choice not to be v@ccinated. Reminder: this woman has a very very brief view of my health and immediately coined my political views based on my v@ccination status. She did realize she came at me a little too much after I was clearly stumbling for words and she apologized. She then readdressed her question in a more appropriate and professional manner and clarified that she wanted to genuinely know why I chose not to received a very new sh0t. I could then feel comfortable sharing with her my medical reasons why I made the right choice for me and she walked me out. I had to ask her what OTC medicine I would be taking to help and even ask why vitamins I should take to help boost my immune system. I had a good idea what I should take, but wanted was surprised I was offered no information except to stay at home until I was feeling better. It makes me very sad that it was more important to her to grill me on why I wasn't v@ccinated instead of helping me feel better. I had to dig to get information to help alleviate my symptoms I was so bewildered to have been grilled in that manner by a medical professional and will certainly not be returning. I sure hope this review will save others from such a disheartening experience with the medical care system that is set in place to help the sick.

I am not a fan of Dr Moncure's office staff. While waiting to check in you can enjoy the ladies at the front desk sitting around talking. Granted there really isn't a rush because you can plan to sit in the waiting room at least an hour past your appointment time, more likely longer, waiting to be seen. No matter how clear you are about time constraints when scheduling a procedure or appointment, you will be guaranteed it will work and it will just become a frustrating mess. Now I have to start over with allergy shots because I have no record of concentration, volume or even of what allergen is being treated by the shots. Also, when going to a new consultation, the brand new doctor said that I was getting not as potent shots from here and that the concentration should be higher. We trust Dr. Foss implicitly. In fact, today I went to a walk in doctor and they said my son had fluid in his middle ear. There wasn't anything we could do but wait and see if it develops into an earache, or a fever. His pediatrician said that's crazy! We're trying to get him well enough for 30 days so he can have his tonsils and adenoids out, and Dr. Foss prescribed him an antibiotic and said at the first sign of pain or fever, go ahead and start the antibiotic. The other doctor wanted me to wait, come back in, and go through this whole process again in a day or two. In addition to today, Dr. Foss has been on constant watch for my kids with their asthma and upper respiratory issues. Allergies are crazy with them, too, and she's ever vigilant! He's quick with communication. If he says he'll call back with lab results he sticks to his word and you will get a call. Not all doctors do that. After scheduling surgery there was a class needed to be taken prior. So I scheduled it the day before surgery. The surgery scheduler, his nurse Leslie, the educational orthopedic nurse navigator, nor did Dr. Lane tell us we needed to take it two weeks before surgery. The question is, how was we supposed to know? After meeting with him for the second time, he said I will not do the surgery that close together before the class. We told him ok, we will reschedule the the surgery. During the visit his tone was unpleasant, he made my mom feel very uncomfortable. His nurse was also unpleasant. The next day we get a call saying Dr. Lane did not want to do the surgery. When I asked why, the scheduler who called stated he felt like my mom was not taking the situation serious and there was not a good doctor patient relationship. This was not true, she has been in pain for almost a year and was ready to get this hip surgery done!!!!! We felt like he did not want to do the surgery and those were the only two excuses he could come up with. We have asked God to help us find a good truthful doctor. I was extremely disappointed with the service I received from KC Vascular and General Surgery. My…read moreprimary care physician had noticed a substantial bulge in my groin area during a checkup and confirmed it was a hernia. He recommended I contact Kansas Vascular and General Surgery to schedule an operation to address the hernia. On my first visit to KC Vascular the Dr. I was referred to felt the same bulge and said oh yeah that is a hernia let's schedule you for surgery and turned me over to his admin team to schedule the surgery which I did. Several weeks later I received an invoice for that visit in the amount of $70.00. I immediately contacted the billing office to ask why I was being charged $70.00 to simply tell me I had a hernia when my Dr. had already told me I had a hernia and just needed to schedule surgery. The agreed that seemed odd they would charge me for that and indicated she put a note in to the local office to call me to review the charges and contact me if valid. The next call I received was from MediCredit. They not only did not respond to my inquiry on the bill they just sent me right to collections which now impacts your credit. If your Dr tells you that you have a hernia, do not schedule an appointment for the surgeon to simply confirm it as they will charge you for that. As if healthcare and insurance for healthcare and the surgury itself aren't enough of an expense already, now I am being harassed by collections to pay another $70.00 to simply confirm what my Dr sent me in there for. As opposed to discussing the charges with me and validating them, KC Vascular just sent me right to collections. I do not think that is an appropriate way to treat a patient and do not recommend seing them as a result of my experience ttying to discuss a charge, only to be sent immediately to collections impacting my credit. I think this is a terrible way to treat a customer/patient.
