Unfortunately, after several months away from the ordeal of fighting for what was legally mine, I keep having the nagging feeling that Todd charged me for things that felt like over-reach. Todd did a very nice job of handling an elderly family member's probate after her partner passed away and left behind a very modest estate. There were some twists and turns including an unscrupulous party who came out of the blue and aggressively challenged the will. I am so grateful to have found Todd Stevenson. He is an absolute pleasure to deal with particularly when you are dealing with a very difficult, unreasonable family, and especially a personality disordered (I believe), jealous sibling trying to hurt me any way she could. She filed a frivolous, lawsuit against me, the Trustee. My concern was carrying out my parents wishes, and that took 4 years to accomplish. This was, by the way, a totally equitable Trust with equal monies going to my sibling and I, as well as each of the grandchildren. Todd Stevenson is a horrible attorney who did not represent me in an estate dispute. I did most of the leg work/investigating hidden monies and property by a sibling. Todd and staff couldn't remember what was said in emails and charged for re-reading it back to me. Todd kept pushing for court dates and after setting them would postpone them - costing me several thousands of dollars. I told him I did not want to go to mediation and yet he made the date to do so which of course lined his pockets. Every step of the way, Todd would lose to the opposing attorney by making excuses that we are making good progress. I was assaulted by a sibling and nothing ever came of it. Wow, who do you think he stands up for, certainly not me! I went to arbitration and the opposing attorney lied as did the sibling -- nothing happened! I fought for over 18 months to get my fair share but instead the only person who got more than his fair share is Todd Stevenson. When I finally said enough and agreed to the unfair settlement, Todd had the nerve to try and make court times and charge for something that had been closed. Please stay away from Todd Stevenson/Rebecca Carlson and the entire office. He sounds very convincing on the phone for the initial consult but it goes only in his pocket after that. read more
