Took me a few years and tons of research as to what make and model boat I wanted, settling on Crownline and I finally pulled the trigger, frequently entering the showroom numerous times picking his brain about all things bowrider and as I said, finally pulled the trigger. Coincidentally, unknown to me a friend told me he also uses Kehls for winter storage and couldn't be happier. Anyways, throughout the process I came to know his 2 brothers Mike and Joe as well as Joe's wife Anne whom handled the closing. From 2020 on, I have had only an excellent experience with the ENTIRE Kehl family. They sell family boats as well as fishing boats. You would be making a huge mistake if you didn't at least pay them at least one visit; I'm pretty certain you'll be happy you did!

We had a great time for about an hour or so but about half way back the engine started sputtering and then died. We tried a few things but admittingly while we can both turn a wrench, neither of us are all that handy when it come to boats. While he was trying to access the carb (it's a pretty old but cool boat), I was already on Yelp looking for help. The fellas at Kehl's were as cool as a cucumber and as nice as my uncles. We tried a few more things but to no avail. We simply cracked a couple colds ones and waited a short while for them to arrive and tow us back to their marina. While I didn't ask him how much they charged for their work, I do know they were able to get her fired up the next day and he was pretty pleased with it all. I don't own my own boat yet (aside from canoes/kayaks), but when I do, I'm surely glad I now know of a friendly, reliable and honest boat mechanic/ marina nearby!

We hired Lukens Marine to shrink wrap our patio furniture last Fall. My son also had them shrink…read morewrap his furniture. My son had a seam open up on his wrapped furniture and called Mike at Lukens. Mike told him he was out of town for a family wedding but would come by the following week to address the issue. He never came to resolve the issue. Today I opened up our patio furniture and there was easily 3" of water pooled on the bottom of the shrink wrap packaging and there were decayed leaves in the shrink wrapping as well. Clearly the shrink wrap wasn't properly sealed at the time it was applied. There was rusty water running out of the legs of the patio table and bench. My deck has visible signs of rust stains from where the water accumulated and came in contact with the furniture frames. Covering the pieces with furniture covers in prior years wasn't a good solution. The covers would blow off and water would penetrate. I expected a more professional outcome by choosing to shrink wrap the pieces. Clearly that was not the outcome we received. I won't use or recommend Lukens Marine Services for shrink wrapping in the future.

That is normal. I do not know what engine you have but I can tell you that 6 Yamaha 225hp injectors new are $650 each. It does cost to rebuild them and expensive, check with other certified marinas no a mobile marine Guy that is telling you he rebuilds them himself. That is not something he can do. I would love to see the invoice. Looks like he took labor off. I am retired but in the business for over 45 years and paid my Marine Engineering degree, rebuilding marine engines and drives. I Teach Marine Engine Maintenance for the United States Power Squadron 10 weeks for FREE to any member. I am not partial to any marina or seller of marine items.

He told me he would do his best to get it repaired and it would take a couple of days instead I received a call an hour later saying that the parts were on its way. that was Thursday Friday morning I received a call saying the boat was finished. They went out of their way. Got the part. Got me back in the water roughly 24 hours between Jeff and Tom. I found a boat being brokered by Babylon on Yacht World. After negotiating a price I sent Spencer a…read moredeposit for 10% of the cost of the boat via overnight check. I then worked on getting the boat set for a surveyor- at that point I found out that he had never seen the boat nor did he know where it was. It's worth noting he described the boat as a "9" but little did I know he never even saw it. I have him 2 more days to locate the boat- and when he couldn't - I stopped the check at the bank and contacted him. At that point he told me he may know where it was- but then said he didn't know; just that it was "on a farm". I told him that if he found the boat to call me. It was over a week later when I heard back from him and at that point I had bought another boat. He then proceeded to tell me he doesn't sell "ghost boats" and to never try and buy a boat from him again. I was shocked at this transaction and thankfully had another broker guiding me along the way or I am convinced I would have lost the deposit like the other yelp reviewer. I have emails to support everything. I don't know if this guy is a crook or not, but that experience isn't something someone should deal with.

Then you called me two hours later and said you wanted to show the boat to someone else well after you had a purchase agreement for full asking. Then you said you didn't want a bidding war but that seams to me exactly what you were setting up. Once again your truthfulness is limited. Your a poor business man and your words means nothing obviously by your previous post. I love the new five star review after your scathing review was posted on The Hull Truth.....something smells very fishy here.
