Coincidentally, unknown to me a friend told me he also uses Kehls for winter storage and couldn't be happier. Anyways, throughout the process I came to know his 2 brothers Mike and Joe as well as Joe's wife Anne whom handled the closing. From 2020 on, I have had only an excellent experience with the ENTIRE Kehl family. They sell family boats as well as fishing boats. We tried a few things but admittingly while we can both turn a wrench, neither of us are all that handy when it come to boats. While he was trying to access the carb (it's a pretty old but cool boat), I was already on Yelp looking for help. The fellas at Kehl's were as cool as a cucumber and as nice as my uncles. We tried a few more things but to no avail. We simply cracked a couple colds ones and waited a short while for them to arrive and tow us back to their marina. While I didn't ask him how much they charged for their work, I do know they were able to get her fired up the next day and he was pretty pleased with it all. I don't own my own boat yet (aside from canoes/kayaks), but when I do, I'm surely glad I now know of a friendly, reliable and honest boat mechanic/ marina nearby!

That is normal. I do not know what engine you have but I can tell you that 6 Yamaha 225hp injectors new are $650 each. It does cost to rebuild them and expensive, check with other certified marinas no a mobile marine Guy that is telling you he rebuilds them himself. That is not something he can do. I would love to see the invoice. Looks like he took labor off. I am retired but in the business for over 45 years and paid my Marine Engineering degree, rebuilding marine engines and drives. I Teach Marine Engine Maintenance for the United States Power Squadron 10 weeks for FREE to any member. I am not partial to any marina or seller of marine items.

Seriously, they will charge you an arm and a leg, AND your first born child. Went here to clean 6 fuel injectors and paint the bottom of my 22 foot boat. When I got the invoice they charged me $1675. WHAT?! When I was done with them and they knew they couldn't get over on me, it only cost me $1165, and A LOT of aggravation. After asking around to a lot of friends of mine in the boating community I found out this isn't the first time people have heard of Peal Grey doing this. With all of the marine service options in the area do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. You'll save yourself a lot of money and aggravation.

We hired Lukens Marine to shrink wrap our patio furniture last Fall. My son also had them shrink…read morewrap his furniture. My son had a seam open up on his wrapped furniture and called Mike at Lukens. Mike told him he was out of town for a family wedding but would come by the following week to address the issue. He never came to resolve the issue. Today I opened up our patio furniture and there was easily 3" of water pooled on the bottom of the shrink wrap packaging and there were decayed leaves in the shrink wrapping as well. Clearly the shrink wrap wasn't properly sealed at the time it was applied. There was rusty water running out of the legs of the patio table and bench. My deck has visible signs of rust stains from where the water accumulated and came in contact with the furniture frames. Covering the pieces with furniture covers in prior years wasn't a good solution. The covers would blow off and water would penetrate. I expected a more professional outcome by choosing to shrink wrap the pieces. Clearly that was not the outcome we received. I won't use or recommend Lukens Marine Services for shrink wrapping in the future.

They did so without calling me first, because there was no time. My O'day 35 could have been wrecked. But the real reason is this: They did the same for me last year.
