Came here a couple times, once to drop something off for service and once to see what they had to offer for a band student needing a sax. The service area is large and I think heavily geared towards local bands. Staff is very knowledgeable and prices seem reasonable for the services. The instruments they offer cover the spectrum of musical taste. They don't have a ton of one type of instrument (for example electric guitars - they maybe have a dozen or so) but they are good price points covering from beginner to advanced. Staff is all friendly and willing to help out. If they specialize in an area they are quick to make sure they get you with the person that would be the expert in that area, but if they aren't available they are more than willing to help/take care of you. Overall have had nothing but good experiences here and would recommend them to anyone.

I didn't necessarily get far, but I did get an idea of how to play a few notes on an electric guitar and I actually had fun learning. He also helped me pick out a couple of starter guitars that were cheap if I wanted to just grab something, but not feel like I wasted money if I didn't use it often. The manager, Brandon, checked in before my lesson and after. Both individuals were personable. Tip: Go ahead and have an idea of what you would like to play and have a song in mind. I was under the impression that they had select guitars that they would allow you to use and that there were set songs to choose from but I was wrong. It is nice that you have choices though!

But Harold's work is just always exactly what I was looking for. I told someone a while back, "Take your guitar to Harold. After he gets done with it, you might drop it and break the neck, but it'll still be in tune and the action will still be lighting fast."
