DO NOT RECOMMEND! Wayne Stewart provided completely negligent inspection services. He failed to evaluate the roof accurately, leaving us with a massive replacement bill, and completely missed major code violations and expensive HVAC failures discovered shortly after closing. Furthermore, his behavior on-site was unprofessional, directing inappropriate jokes at people present that made us deeply embarrassed. We would never want to be associated with him personally or professionally again. Shame on any Realtor who recommends this unqualified, unethical inspector--it makes us wonder if those referrals were incentivized. This is exactly why home inspectors get such a bad reputation. Wayne tried to sell me some fabricated story about me (the buyer of the home) not being allowed to be present during the inspection because it's a "liability" after not getting back to me about this question for two business days. This is clearly not true, the first inspection company I called other than these quacks said they highly encourage the buyer being there and that the buyer is present for the entirety of the inspection for at least 75% of their inspections. Go with another company that has more honest business practices, remember that being present during the inspection is a right you can insist on. read more
