The owner let my wife feed the baby wild Turkey's while I was taste testing with his son. The facility was way cool and modern for being out in the middle of nowhere. Also note to mention this is an 11 mile ride off of interstate 79 thru farm land with narrow roads so if your use to city driving be careful. I'm not a Vodka drinker so I was down to tasting the Moonshine and whiskies. I'm not a Red Bull drinker so the cinnamon whiskey was out for me. The moonshine is truly amazing on what I imagined moonshine should taste like. One of the other things that made me wonder after I left was the bottles were pretty heavy duty which probably is why the prices were a bit steep. I would like to see something a little more gimmicky like a Watermelon, Peach, pineapple or mango moonshine in a 1/2 gallon mason jar or hill Billy Jug. This was one of the best distillery I have tried. Service was very friendly and knowledgeable. The building is absolutely beautiful inside and if it's nice outside, the scenery behind the distillery is amazing with a creek running right past the back porch. The do offer charcuterie and other snacks to eat here when there are no food trucks. You are also allowed to bring your own food, which is what we did.. We sipped and savored them and just enjoyed a bit of a respite from our road trip. We both got a bottle of their whiskey to take home with us.
