Loved our afternoon at Blue Shepherd! Cute place with indoor and outdoor seating, my family especially loved their wooden tables. Loved all the drinks that highlight their unique spirits. I originally got the spicy pickle drink and it was a little too spicy for me. The waitstaff noticed I was nursing it a little too hard and offered me a new drink & to take the spicy drink off the tab! Such a nice gesture that came as a surprise. I ended up getting their tzaziki drink which was DELICIOUS and so unique too! The German shepherd that wanders around the bar is so cute and friendly as well. The burgers at the food truck looked amazing, but unfortunately we had just eaten. Will definitely be back next time I'm in the area! read more

Great place to try some great cocktails. The owner was super nice and kept the drinking coming! I really love the German shepherd theme, there was a nice German shepherd "employee" that also greeted us too! The food truck onsite does the best smash burgers and the loaded fries are amazing. Bacon Cheese Double with BSS Vodka Tonic was a great combo. The burger was little pricey but delish and fast none the less! Everyone was super polite. It's next to and part of a micro batch distillery (Blue Shephard Spirits) that has 10 types of in house distilled spirits. The owner was accommodating knowledgeable about his product. Pretty cool casual spot and NEW! they make all of their own items, drinks were handcrafted and very unique. Plenty of regulars and patrons from the area. We have driven by several times and FINALLY made it a point to go in and see what it's all about. We got 2 drinks each. Many seasonal creations and some classic ones. I would rate 6 stars if I could. Stopped here with my boyfriend and our friends on a trip a couple weeks ago. Friendliest and most efficient staff you will ever meet. All of their liquors are made on the property. Huge cocktail menu with tons of unique options. Tried a bunch of them between the 4 of us and all were delicious. Food is also fantastic. Very nice environment, the dogs onsite are very sweet and behaved, there are also games there if you want to stay and hang out for a few hours like we did. A must-go if you're visiting the area. I rarely write Yelp reviews but this was a standout. read more

This was my first stop after I checked in to the bnb and it felt good. Alex has done a fantastic job renovating this auto body repair shop in to a comfortable distillery. Very creative space and cocktail list. They have a few snacks. Alex is very warm and welcoming. He is good people. I highly recommend stopping here if you are in the area. They have tastings and parking across the street. Open noon-5 on weekends. I think this old fashioned was made with white rum. I also had a hot toddy type drink too, definitely warmed me up. read more

I got the raspberry delight done as a mocktail and it was one of the best mocktails I've ever had: it had deliciously, perfectly fresh, sweet raspberries, and foam! Starting the service has been stellar every visit. They meet us at the door. They have great suggestions and seasonal drinks themes. The story is heart warming. I enjoy the wood grain tables. Stopped by on our way into town and was pleasantly surprised. We were traveling with our own German shepherd and saw we could take him with us so we were excited to give it a try. It was still surprising busy in mid afternoon, but we were able to get a table outside and enjoy the sun. We got the blueberry crush and a blue mule - both delicious. The food from the food truck on site was delicious - we tried a smash burger, two chicken smash burgers, the hot dog and some fries. All excellent. Came here for some drinks and food with my wife, in-laws, and our two dogs. We received a warm welcome from the staff and they immediately started to explain what they do at the distillery and the spirits they produce. We ordered a wide range of drinks from the menu and they were all well made, had great taste composition, and were visually appealing. The distillery was immaculately clean and was well put together. Talking with the owner, everything from the countertops, to the floor, and beyond we're done by themselves and the effort/craftsmanship shows. Lastly the drinks are fairly priced and of exceptional quality, I only saw them use fresh ingredients and chilled glasses. Highly recommend if you're in the area or visiting! read more

Mixology is an art form and Blue Shepherd proves it. They consistently update their drink menus and use their own spirits for the beverages. There are also mocktails for those who don't want to drink. The place is very casual - dogs even allowed inside. Food truck on the premises that apparently has great smash burgers, but I have not tried them yet. I am not a huge cocktail drinker (I have a hard enough time managing my beer and wine consumption...) but every once in a while it's cool to mix it up. The staff is always friendly and efficient, even when the place gets very busy. Parking can be a challenge if it's very busy. You can always park up the hill by the singing tower and walk down (about a 5 minute walk). read more

This was a great stop. We were cheered when we walked up. The staff all were super friendly and very knowledgeable. They make all their spirits in house and hand bottle them all. We each had a cocktail and they were well mixed and the spirits came across nicely. The space is small but clean and well decorated. Quick 20 min drive from our Airbnb at deer run cabins. After a great tasting at RiverHill Distillery we made our way to Blue Shepherd Spirits. Drinks were delicious, staff were incredibly kind, and the burgers and loaded fries were amazing!!! 10/10 recommend and will definitely be back.
