They didn't have anything I was interested in that day, but it was fun to browse. Betteraged is mostly clothing, but I did see a crate of vintage records for $10 each. All of the clothes I saw were in good shape, although I thought some of the prices were a bit high. They had a lot of flannel, tons of jean jackets, and cardigans and sweaters galore. Plenty of great items for fall. I would be interested in coming back again to check out what they have in stock. If you're a vintage clothing enthusiast, I'd add this spot to your list. The owner let one of us use their restroom but then proceeded to hover over the door and harass them for taking to long. They also followed us out after and said very sarcastically "well at least you got to take a dump" then proceeded to lecture us saying that my family member didn't leave the fan on or spray fragrance. My family member has IBS and was very embarrassed. The owner then replied to a previous review that a friend of theirs got robbed a year back and he tried to say we were trying to do the same to him. We just wanted to see your store of overpriced crap and you basically made us leave because of your preconceived prejudice. Get a camera if you're so scared of someone stealing. Also grow up and understand you have a street store that is open to the public. It is not illegal for us to just look around old man.... Read through the reviews and you will see this isn't the first time he has treated his customers like this.

I stopped in recently with some friends and we loved seeing all the fun stuff in the shop. I was drawn to the stickers, cat shaped keychains, earrings, and pins. The shop also houses an active workspace in the back, so the employee there was busy and not very interactive when we came in - which was fine, as we were just browsing, but it didn't create a super welcoming atmosphere for us. I am always inspired when I shop here and often find myself wishing I earned more money to buy all the treasures made here. Gemini makes their own hand crafted leather belts as well as offering monograms on all sorts of leather curiosities. My favorite was an ingenious cyanotype "tie dyed" leather contraption that transformed a glass jar into a coffee mug. So inventive. I also love that they sell DIY cyanotype kits amongst all their marvelous creations. Long ago, I bought an airplant from this establishment and it's still going strong. I thoroughly enjoy perusing the art, clothes, bags, jewelry and other thoughtfully designed items. It brings me peace walking in and smelling that leather along with their delicious scented candles.
